This was a school assignment. We were to write about an item that would be most necassary in a school day at my highschool (Staples). I chose an iPod, and I enjoyed writing this I'll sharing it you all. This is only the second time I've posted something in the Late Night Lounge...but I hope you enjoy.

Oh, and this was supposed to be sorta like the Towel uses section of the book The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy . If you have read it, you'll know what I am talking about...ooh, and sorry for some confusing...the lack of proof reading can do that...

Ipod’s are the most useful item to have with you when venturing the halls of Staples High School for many reasons. Ipod’s not only come with the iPod itself but also comes with the headphones. This headphone phone cord can be used as many things. Let’s say you wake up late and are rushing to school. You accidentally misplace your belt and the only item on hand is your iPod. Whip of the headphone cord and tie it around your waist and you are set for the day with a snazzy new belt. But, once you’re in school the halls are way too crowded. Not only did you walk up late, but now you can’t get to your class on time because of the masses of freshman in the hallways. A simple solution is to plug the headphones into your iPod and swing it into the faces of the freshmen to get them out of your way. Gogo style from the movie Kill Bill. Finally, you make it to school, past the hordes of kids, and now the door to the class is locked and you’re stuck in the courtyard. Good thing you have ninja flexibility and reflexes and have your iPod with you. Swing the iPod onto the roof and use it as a grappling hook to swing yourself over and onto the roof. Them simple repel down the other side of the building again using the iPod headphone cord and use the side door to get to your class. Bah, not again, your dumb teacher is planning on lecturing you the whole class period about who knows what. Use the metallic back of the iPod as a reflector and blind the teacher temporarily. This will give you just enough time for you to sneak out the door and skip the period. Now that you’re out of class you come to a pack of rabid ninjas. Assuming you are a wild beast, tie your long hair back with the cord of the headphones and get ready to kick some ninja butt. Lucky for you, you have Dragostea Din Tei by O-zone on your iPod, and the song is so hardcore you scare the ninjas away with it. Now, you’ve skipped class, scared away a rabid gang of ninjas, what to do? Might as well, bust out the pod again and crank some tunes. It’s been a rough day, you deserve a break.

Vrei sa pleci dar nu ma, nu ma iei,
Nu ma, nu ma iei, nu ma, nu ma, nu ma iei.
Chipul tau si dragostea din tei,
Mi-amintesc de ochii tai.

so i was talking to a friend here in study hall and i asked what i should write about. she said write a satirical thing about our class...so here's my start

Welcome to my own personal hell. Well, not in a literal sense, there isn’t any fire… Actually, sometimes it is, but that’s the fun fire, totally kickass fire!
No, this isn’t so bad as one would be led to believe, either way, this is school. So, as you can see, it’s inherent that I shouldn’t like it.
You should see my friends; they are a weird bunch. I won’t go into detail now; you’ll meet them soon enough. But first, let me describe my usual morning routine. I wake up at oh around the asscrack of dawn. Roll out of bed twenty minutes later and stumble my way to the shower. I stare at my puffy tired red and thrashed self in the mirror for a few minutes before turning around and turning on the water. I wake up last out of my family, so cold water awaits me. No big deal, it wakes me up.
After my shower I brush my teeth and take a piss, then off to my room. I lay in my bed for almost an hour before realizing I’m almost late for school and get dressed as quickly as possible. Usually it includes a dirty pair of jeans and a shirt or two from the floor. As soon as I can find my shoes buried in my room, I pick up my backpack and hightail it to school.
The walk is a tough one, uphill both ways. There is always ten feet of snow on the ground and I even have to go barefoot at times. Wolves sometimes jump out of the woods at me and chase me around. When and if I finally make it to school that morning I have to sneak into the barricaded fortress of Mrs. McCabe’s room.

I found this from when one of my best friends moved away.
So I figured might as well share it.

Best Friends Forever

As the years pass,
and we grow apart,
I want you to know,
that you're in my heart.

You helped me through problems, through things good and bad.
You helped me keep smiling, when I was sad.

You helped me with guys.
You made me stay strong.
How will I live, when you are gone?

And where the years take us, no place is too far,
We will think of each other, wherever we are.

You're a wonderful person, with a good heart to lend,
And I want you to know, you're a really good friend.

check it out, i had to write up a li'l somethin' fo' English just now.
it is to my standard (awesomely shit :P), but i enjoyed writing it.
so enjoy reading it... or i will kill you...
its sperated into 2 halves... so a double post for me :)

English -Writing piece 1.

“What?” said mum.
“A naked lady tree…” repeated Ashleigh, my sister.
It was late afternoon, at the Murray River. Our family’s (on my father’s side) annual campiong trup to the border had begun. It was one of the first year we had gone up, when I was around nine or ten years old.
We had nearly set up camp at Ulupna beach – a small stretch of beach about two to three hundred meters long in the Barma State Forest – and my father and sister had just arrived back at camp after a short drive back to the entrance of the area to have a look at a few things.

“Well what do you mean a ‘naked lady tree’?”
“It’s an overturned, dead tree we saw a few k’s back that looks somewhat like a woman,” my dad said.
“So?” I asked.
“So it’s cool, doofus!” Said Ashleigh.

About half an hour later, another third of the team arrived up at the beach: My dad’s younger brother’s family. Among them were my Auntie Sally, cousin Brianna and Brett. Brett was eight months my junior and Brianna around three years more so.
They set up camp on the opposite side of ‘our stretch’ to us (as they always did), to leave an open space for the third and final party of the McInnes’ to camp on.
They arrived a further hour later, and were in somewhat of a rush to get set up since there was only another forty five minutes of light left.
Out of all three families, they were the youngest overall in terms of my cousins, with Matthew, the same age as Brianna, and Kelly who was a further two years younger.
Their parents were Auntie Lisa – my father’s younger sister, and Colin who was physically the largest member of the extended family – around six feet tall, and at least one hundred kilos.

BEHOLD! FOR IT SHALL BE CONTINUED! SCROLL DOWN YOU RETARD!

Response to Late Night Lounge 2005-02-09 02:06:33

T3h CONTINUATION!!!!

After they had settled in, we were all around the campfire just getting the general ‘first day’ talk out of the way as people should (such topics include what other family members have been doing with themselves, work, leisure, etc, etc).
However, such topics of conversation did not phase Brett or myself, us talking about assorted sports and hunting.

The next morning, I awoke to the sound of my mother telling others of her troubles trying to sleep during the night due to disturbances from a koala. I smirked at her discomfort, because I was such a heavy sleeper that the koala would personally have to grunt in my ear to awaken me.
After I had dressed myself in my old pants and T, I walked over to our little breakfast table in the sand, where some of the greatest camping foods of all time awaited me.
Up at the Murray, I always had fried bacon and eggs in toast for breakfast, and as always I impatiently waited for them to be fully cooked.

After meeting the other tent dwellers, we discussed what daily events would ensue. My two Aunts and my mother were planning on floating down the river – which involved pumping up truck tires, driving a few clicks up the beach and dropping them off in the river, for them to float back down to camp – which no one stood against.
My Uncle Craig and son Brett were busting to get out on the hired dingy boat and set up some fixed lines and yabby nets – they were fanatical fisherman, and my grandfather’s boat got good use back in Melbourne.
So, with everyone with something to do, I pondered on what activities I would partake in on this sunny morning.
Then, I recalled something from the night before. I walked over to my father and asked him, “Hey dad, can you take me to see the naked lady tree?”
“Yeah, alright. In about ten minutes.” He replied.

A further twenty minutes later I stood up out of the car and marveled at what art nature had created. There, lying sideways on the ground, was a dead, uprooted tree approximately fifteen meters in length.
And, to my astonishment, the curves and bumps of the trees long trunk greatly resembled that of a woman’s figure.

It was, the naked lady tree.

T3h END!!
EXPECTING MORE? WELL THERE ISN'T ANY!! MUAHAH!
behold, the end of the awesomely shit story XD

If you need a friend just ask Bedn.
Ok I hope everyone enjoys this.

THE HEART OF NIGHT

When all the stars are show.
Across the night-blue space,
With the immense unknown,
In silence face to face.

We stand in speechless awe
While Beauty marches by,
And wonder at the Law
Which wears such majesty.

How small a thing is person.
In all that world so vast,
That one should hope or plan
Or dream thier dream could last!

O doubter of the light,
Confused by fear and wrong,
Lean on the heart of night
And let love make thee strong!

The Good that is the True
Is clothed with Beauty still.
Lo, in their tent of blue,
The stars above the hill!

Anyway, i think a new Queen should be crowned. Since X isnt here i vote for ramagi as Queen of the LNL. Her poems are fucking awesome, i wish i had talent like that, she really should participate in a poetry tournament, or write a book.

Hey everyone, hows it going? I had a rough night last night. Went to a kegger, got drunk beyond belief. Came home, kept on drinking, then went to work.
At which point I was still drinking on a roof cause I am a roofer. Well I went to grab a coil of nails so I could continue laying shingles, and I slipped. Fell 10 feet off the roof into a snowbank. I am fine, my side is just realy sore, but this beer is helping the pain stay away.

Well..It seems like nobody reads my poetry anymore, but meh..shit happens

Sorrow

Don't know what to do
when you make me feel like this
these feelings inside of me
I try to hit but miss
I try to take away the pain
But this cannot subside
I'm afraid of what will come
Out of what's inside

I barely see you anymore
I don't know where you are
I talk to you every now and then
But I have to say
I'm so alone again

I can feel you breathing
Inside of me
Inside of me
I can hear your heart beat
In the distance
So far away

I can't see you now
goodbye
