Anyway, It took me a while but I managed to get my hands on Black Sabbath's 'Born Again' album at a local record store. You know the one with Ian Gillan singing. And I'm surprised I hadn't picked it up earlier it's really a very good album.

It was hilarious. What I found funny were some of the general fan interviews, but when it got to the Norweigan Black Metal section it become just over the top, weird and stupid.
There were comments made about rival bands not being true etc. Some cunts were condoning church burning. It was really disturbing.

I've never really liked Black Metal, but i've been interested in how inane and outlandish some of the concepts are. Plus it's one of the worst kinds of sound i've ever heard.
It's not really generalising either. I've read a lot about Black Metal as it happens. The fact that he isn't being serious doesn't prove that Black Metal is pretty damn stupid. I mean it's full of lunatics linked with murder, violence and church burnings. That just takes it too far if you ask me, spreading fear across the community in that sort of way.
I don't like any aspect of Black Metal. It's like they use these ideologies and causes to hide behind because their music is crap.
