Anyway, no, not all Black Metal is boring. There is just too much "raw black metal" around. Most of these bands simply rip off Darkthrone a thousand times and are not even successful with that...so there's an exeptionally large pile of crap to be found in the black metal genre. But in my opinion, metal's best hidden gems can be found in BM.

For all those who tend to hate/dislike Black Metal I say you should check out these songs:

Varathron - Angel of Revenge

then we go over to the port, where a plank is suspended over the sea, and volunteers can duel each other on them, with boyus to hit each other into the ocean below, I did this with my friend óli, I won :D, but I jumped in anyway, because there was a fucking monsoon storm outside, except colder :S
