Sure, they steal riffs and melodies and stuff, but having the ability to play those riffs is enough to earn my respect. I've been playing the guitar for 4 months and I couldn't even touch Livewire. (Which I assume everyone knows is by Motley Crue)

I can only assume more people are gonna take the piss out of me for this statement, but that's cool, everoyne's entitled to their own opinion.

Anyway, shouldn't we band together all genres of metal, whether it be metalcore, Glam or the truley fossil-like Hair metal, and beat the fucking hell out of all these pop-rock posers?

I finally found a store that sells real metal, but it's an hour and a half away from me. That's a three hour drive there and back for some fucking albums, yet I'm suprisingly willing. I'm tired of having to buy shit online and dealing with the ridiculous shipping prices. I wish I could find one that was closer, now because now that I think about it gas kind of fucks that plan up.

in my view its up to the musician to play whatever the fuck he/she wants. if people don't like your music they can just go and listen to someone else rather than winging about it. i wouldnt intentionally play a style of music JUST to piss people off, but artistic integrity is something i strongly believe in.
