Yah. I can't count how many times i've listened to Sons of Odin in one hour. Packaging is very cool. Its got the whole Norse mythology aspect. Which is pretty common in most Manowar albums. Iced Earth has a new album comming out too. www.icedearth.com . It's been almost three years since The Glorious Burden was released.
It's actually a single. But then Iced Earth will also be recording "Framing Armedgeddon" this May. It has a total of 18 songs. DAMN! I can't wait.

Oveture of the Wicked is the name of the single. Second part to the Something Wicked This Way Comes" 1998 record.

I dare you...

I FUCKING DARE YOU, to play a Trivium song with 100% accuracy.

I can't, because i've only been playing the guitar for 4 months, but someone who says they're shit like yourself MUST be able to surpass them.

Listening to:Disposable Heroes - Chimaira (Metallica cover)

BOAT! RUDDER! STANGE. MOUNTAIN! They can be given credit in riff and solo stealing. Anthem by Trivium = Livewire by Motley Crue. The Solo in Pull stings is stolen from Bark At The Moon by Ozzy Osbourne.

They're cool. Dark power metal is what I call it. The vocals are really good. Think Iron Maiden and Blind Gurdian meets Slayer. The album is about a man who is betrayed by his religion and turns away from it in anger. He becomes a mystical legend called the Stormrider. He shows no remorse for his evil deeds and ultimately ends up in hell. Album is basically a sci/fi story. He rides his horse of destruction through the clouds of lightning. Here's their remasterd version of their third album called Burnt Offerings. It's about Dante's Inferno, That's when their full time singer Matthew Barlow enters. A really dark album. They also did an album on the comic book called Spawn. The crator of Spawn has done some of Iced Earth's artwork for quite some time.

I've been playing for three and a half years, and can play quite a lot of Trivium songs... not the solos... but I suck at learning other peoples solos. But the rhythm... piss easy.

Now ssshhh.

I hate when people use this as an argument. Do you have to be a film maker to be a critic? No. Do you have to play guitar to critisice guitar playing? No. You never have to be better to dislike something.

Plus Trivium fucking suck.

Response to Metal Hell 2007-05-01 16:08:45

Here a quote from one post I made. It may make you laugh.

I looked up the defintion of the word Trivium. That is pretty much the defintion: LIttle worth, Ordinary, Etc. To come to think of it, the definition pretty much describes Trivium, the bands music. Bland, Dull, and Ordinary. Basically they're also calling the band this.

agreed. but horsemen make no mistakes. they are unfalible. it is the ones who change over time that make the mistakes.
