Metal Hell

Got the gear, got the gas, got compression. My direction is cast to the concrete.

I am a motor musician, moving to the asphalt beat.

Alright, I listened through the complete new Megadeth now and I have to say it's pretty good. It's better than TSHF.

Sleepwalker, Washington is Next, You're Dead and Burnt Ice are all damn good heavy/thrash tracks.

Here, listen to Sleepwalker - probably the best song on the new album, I like it very much and I have no problem with admitting it. Especially the solo smokes.

interesting ;)

btw, NecroOne, do you know Beneath the Massacre? This is my first listen and HOLY FUCK, that is some brutal, amazingly technical stuff.

Indeed I have.
I'm big on Technical Death Metal and it's probably favorite sub-genre in Metal.
They are awesome but some people don't like 'em for they have some breakdowns in their music. I still think it's good though, I mean just look at The Faceless.

Well, I only mind the breakdowns in "Nevermore" because half of the song is breakdown, but other than that, their debut EP is amazing. Necrophagist looks kinda pale in comparison, when it comes to technical proficiency :P

By epic I mean stereotypical tremolo picking to no end. However, I need vocals, if you catch my drift.

If it's good tremolo-picking, I'm all for it.

I never thought I would actually hear Beneath the Massacre as being acceptable. They never did much for me...now that I'm giving them another chance, that is some insanely technical shit. Still not a fan of the overall sound.

I don't know, something about Necrophagist's neo-classical guitar work and brutal vocals (in which I practice to all the time) just don't get tiersome for me. I can listen to 'em all the time, but I don't.

I think my friend wants me to go see BTM with The Faceless, and Animosity. I think there's also some other Deathcore band but I'm not sure. I might go. I'm still saving up for The Summer Slaughter Tour. I might get VIP tickets to meet up with Necrophagist, and I'll also hopefully get to meet Decapitated if I get those tickets. :)

The album only has one or two throwaway tracks, the rest ranges from rather good to great. I guess it's a good buy.

Jebus.
Some angry group of Christians actually got the board of Education in some state to ban Pokemon because of "evolution" in the game; I.E. the Pokemon invovling once they reach a certain level. I know this isn't related to music or anything in anyway but that is just fucking rediculous. They gathered around and burned the games and everything, and out of all things banned it from the schools of some state. Isn't that a bit ironic? Banning something that you should be learning about in school, evolution.

I wish I could vomit on these....people.

Who in their right mind would wanna burn a game with a Mudkip in it?

John McLaughlin. Guitarist of Mahavishnu Orchestra, which are acid jazz rock that actually rocks. He can alternate pick what Malmsteen can double pick.
