Over the weekend, I started listening to an assload of bands. I think Grand Magus, Dark Moor, and Vanden Plas are my favorite recent discoveries. There's also Royal Hunt, Black Majesty, Zandelle, Pagan's Mind, and Age of Nemesis. I also heard one song by Falconer, which I liked.
If you guys haven't heard Dark Moor's adaptation of Vivaldi's Winter, you fucking must. It's great.

One reason is because of the awesome solo on Child in Time.
Child in Time is one of my favorite Deep Purple songs.
I recently heard Man on the Silver Mountain by Rainbow. pretty good.

I agree with everything you say maverick-mechanic but would also add we have had some great comedy teams like Cheech and Chong, The Marx Brothers and the all time greatest trio ever, The 3 Stooges. Curly FTW Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck.
my favorite American comedians:
Demetri Martin
Louis CK
Eddie Murphy
George Carlin
Bill Cosby
the guys of Derrick Comedy (if that counts)
I'd include Cheech and Chong, but Tommy Chong is Canadian. And I didn't include Cheech Marin on his own since I'm not very familiar with his standup and I haven't seen him in a comedy without Tommy Chong.

Oh, I love british humour. I own every single episode of the Flying Circus.
as do I. I also have a Benny Hill tape. I loved Mr. Bean and wish to get the DVD collection sometime. I wish the Hollow Men were on DVD. I plan on checking out Black Adder and Doctor Who. I have a friend who is obsessed with Doctor Who. And I love Little Britain.
No, I have not seen the apparently infamous second season.
I'm probably forgetting something.

It made me chuckle maybe twice, and it was during Ron White's bit. He still sucks, but compared to Larry, Engvall, and Foxworthy he's comedic genius.
I'm freaking tired of Ron White's routine about how he got thrown out of a bar. If I saw him, I'd be tempted to say "way to kill a joke, you dick." I still find his other jokes pretty funny, though.
Bill Engvall used to be my favorite of the group (never my fav comedian, though, and neither were the other 3), but I'm not sure whether I prefer him or Jeff Foxworthy now.
