I like The Black Dahlia Murder, Amon Amarth, Unearth, Dethklok, Full Blown Chaos, Walls of Jericho, Strapping Young Lad

Wowzers. This is a defiante toughy. That's all mallcore, except Amon Amarth. One isn't even a real band....My guess is you will be rejected.

Meh. Looks like you're very inclined towards metalcore and melo death.
I don't have any power here, but if I did, I'd probably reject you.

that there is what is known as one of the most amazing bands ever Rhapsody (of Fire) rule! ive got 2 albums and an EP seriously they are so good for skin tingling music, i suggest you listen to the song "Never Forgotten Heroes" that has the most amazing keyboard solo in it, it just makes me orgasm when i hear it

RHAPSODY OWN J00!!

I didn't really like much it at all. Just the sound of it, and the whole Dungeons and Dragons type theme. And I don't like the singer. I'm not trying to start a fight, but I really didn't like it. Also, the fact that they made up that backstory by themselves is sad.
But the guitar solo was awesome.

Vintersorg = Solens Rötter or Visions from the Spiral Generator
Borknagar = S/T, Olden Domain, or Epic.

Origin (if you like acoustic stuff) is the strongest modern borknagar album. If you dig black metal (which I know you don't) you could get their S/t. However, if you want a modern borknagar album that's also metal, get Empiricism or Epic. Both are win. Epic has more of a a folky, grand, and, well, epic atmosphere to it, whereas Empiricism has a more jazzy and dark feel to it. Origin, however, is pure acoustic folk with drums, lots of singing, flutes, and a really celtic atmosphere.
And just like that....he was gone...

Newbie -- parodies aren't metal. Dethklok isn't a metal band. Blargh.

Yeah, Running Wild is pretty good. I haven't listened to them in a while, though. don't remember much.
Oh, and I just got a new King Crimson tee shirt. It's the cover of in the Court of the Crimson King (includes the back of the cover on the back of the shirt as well). I also got a King Crimson mouse pad. It has the logo from the Discipline album. I got Tony Levin's solo album, Resonator, as well. It's quite good.

I plan to buy Origin sometime.
And hopefully somebody could transfer files of certain songs from other albums, especially the Weight of the Wind from Epic.

I've been a huge fan of the band for awhile.
Man, the metal perucssion parts are intense as fuck, like the score to a suspense film.
Coincidentally, the band does scores for avant-garde films.

Yup. That's exactly who I am.
Man, I've never even watched that metawhatever show. I also read in an interview that the guy that made it doesn't even listen to metal. So, whatever. I'm not watching it.

I never said that melodic death was bad, but you have to admit, it is getting a bit stale. Amon Amarth and Dark Tranquility are pretty much the two main bands keeping the melo death genre afloat.
