Nothing special. Too melodic.

No, those are lyrics to the chorus of "GWAR Theme Song".

Miike always puts an unnecessary twist at the end, like Kakihara hallucinating about being murdered while commiting suicide at the end of Ichi The Killer.
New shitty rough draft. If you don't hear anything but bops then tell me.

Yep, I had the same thing happen to me when I was asked to write incidental music for a spoken-word album.
I spent five hours working on the strings using MIDI, and when I tryed to mix a few MP3 drum loops, the mixer I was using fucked up the MIDI and all my hard work was lost.

Bands.
Nice band list I <3 at least 75% of them.

Hey guys, check out my BM project http://myspace.com/wotanmitmir
We just finished recording our album. It will be released when we find a label to release it on ;D, or in a few months if we can't find a label, self release I guess.
Check it out :P
The names Food, WillPostForFood.

Damn. I'm interested in doing stuff like that though. If I opened a MIDI program (I have about 4), how could I start recording music?

Haha, I do. But Septic Flesh is just a too rare gem to ignore (You know I'm a sucker for Greek bands)
Aww, there was a local band in Melbourne 20 years ago called Septic Death....

I still need to give Avantasia a listen to. I know I should like it if it has Hansen, Grosskopf and Rhapsody's drummer Holzwarth. :)

No, I mean the twist was good, but the torture sequence was too long and drawn out. It was like watching a fake snuff film in which the victim didn't get finished off. It shouldn't have made it past the cutting room floor, (as well as the barf eating scene) IMO.

Yes, but my friend will probably fail to see that like with the other power metal I've shown him. He fails to see that Angra > him.
lolopinions
He tried to argue that being a big prog metal and prog rock fan, he couldn't get into power metal, but I called him on his bullshit, pointing out the obvious fact that I am also a big prog metal and prog rock fan.
You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

Anyone here heard of Savage Circus?
I listened to their Dreamland Manor album, its awesome.
They're incredibly similar to Blind Guardian, maybe a bit heavier, and it has the drummer from Blind Guardian, who left a couple of years ago.
An interesting listen. Awesome power metal.

Oh I just constantly mention them everywhere all the time is all :)
Also, the singer and guitarist for that band is the same for Persuader if you like SC. It's power metal but with strong thrash elements, except their lyics are neither. They are an awwwesome listen.
The singer is also in a band Dark Empire, if I remember correctly. Who has influences by bands like Symphony X. They're from NY.
Godbless Jens Carlsson for being a music whore.

Eh, safe measure, just list your music, you should be fine either way

Yep, I've only heard two of their songs, but I like them. Of course they sound very similar to Blind Guardian, but the SC songs I heard reminded me of the Imaginations from the Other Side album. :)

Yeah I read about that on Wikipedia when I was checking SC out. I'll be sure to listen!

I like the usual stuff:
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Dream Theater
Blind Guardian
Helloween
Gamma Ray
Iced Earth
Judas Priest
Symphony X
Ayreon
These days im listening more to the power/speed metal and symphonic stuff, rather than the classic style of metal.
