the only magazine I subscribe to is game informer, I;ve never even seen a magazine that deals with metal in my town
I subscribe to Game Informer too. It's a great game magazine.
I've been getting Electronic Gaming Monthly.
Well, my opinion on Michael Kiske has changed. He's okay. Avantasia is fucking great. Timo Tolkii + Markus Grosskopf + Kai Hansen + André Matos = almost too good to be true. Tobias Sammet is quite good as well.

I'm not a big on Japanese films, as in, I want to be able to understand and not read more than I want to. Meaning, books.
pshh. I have a friend who complains about subtitles. He bitched and moaned at the beginning of Pan's Labyrinth when it started. "What? It's subtitled? wa wa wa wa". Two couples even left the theater because it was subtitled. freakin' lazy people. I don't see why it's such a problem. It's better than dubs, IMO, which can be (extremely) poorly acted and not even true to the original dialogue. Plus, of course, the mouth movements don't match if it's live action. If you watch enough subtitled movies, you get used to it and it's no problem. I watch a lot of foreign films, so I'm used to it. I just recently saw Seven Samurai and Riki Oh: the Story of Ricky, actually, and I have 2 martial arts films from Netflix that may or may not be subtitled (Duel to the Death and Fearless).
lol naked ninja
I've been really getting into martial arts films lately. big fan of Ong Bak and the Protector (Tom Yum Goong). just got Five Deadly Venoms on VHS.
Shit, I have ranting issues.
Oh, and Pan's Labyrinth is awesome.

No matter how many times I watch Audition, I just can't seem to get into it. It moves too slowly for my liking.
I was actually enjoying that movie until it got toward the end. I thought the pointless, extended torture scene was stupid, and mutilated guy eating his own vomit out of a dog dish was also quite dumb. It didn't bother me. I just thought it had no real point. I felt it could have been a decent movie, but Miike fucked it up.
