You really should give Grand Alchemist and Otyg both a listen; GA is symphonic black from Norway, while Otyg is a Swedish side-project featuring Vintersorg on vocals. Good folk metal. \m/

If you want a better idea of the music I listen to, here's my playlist. You might find it interesting, heh.

A moronic user that reacted in a hyperactive manner toward my statements about Deicide. He's a bit of a Deicide fanatic who annoys everyone, including me and I'm a Deicide fan.

WOW! Just heard Slayer's Gemini, it got some of the best drums ever! That song slong with Toxicity has the most original drums ever! Go get the song, NOW!
I know they're not exactly "metal-metal", but I'm going to go see Rush this Saturday. They might not be death or black metal, but being an influence to virtually any and all power/prog. metal bands out there, I hold lots of respect for 'em.
*crosses fingers* I just hope they play 2112.

Unholy mother..it's huge! Will check out a lot of stuff I saw there.
BTW, does anyone know "Finntroll" ? They are a finnish folklore metal band I think they are pretty good

I are the not worthy of "Trollhammeron!"

They're on my list. ;x
Gonna see Slayer and Slipknot soon.
Not looking forward to Slipknot so much, but they're good live apparently.

Slayer is really fucking cool live, I've heard. Then again, I've heard the same thing about Slipknot; their "new live show" is supposed to be "really thrilling". I doubt it, but who knows?

My asshole can maKe better music than Slipknot. If you want to I can send you a picture of my ass, it will be more entartaining than their concert and much cheaper.
Slayer are awsome! I envy you so much you lucky bastard!
It sounds unprobable that they would perform together, are these two seperate shows?

I would not see Slipknot without some Slayer incentive.
Damn you Earfetish, Slayer are coming to your town you lucky bastard. It's been my dream to see them live for half a year and just like that they are going to England. You know what really sucks? How many people will go to their show? I guess not to much. If they came to Israel every metal head in the country would go to the show. I mean when Vader performed here they had a bigger crowd than they have in Europe. When Nergal came, he admitted that he expected three times less people.
You know what's funny? Nargaroth is supposed to be playing shows in Mexico.
NSBM in a country that isn't predominantly white? Am I the only one who is laughing at that thought?

Awesome song, I'm sure everyone here will like it. Unfortunately I have no fuckin idea what it is..
I think I may have posted this before but I don't remember.. Anyway, have a listen, if I have posted this before I'm sorry :)
Looks like I'm missing a plug-in for the site.....
Well, Earfetish, have fun at their concert, I also heard that Slipknot has a good live show, but I'm also..sceptical.

Check out the DisasterPeices DVD, they do do some awesome shows
Awsome comics.
It's the funniest metal related comics I've seen since the comics on reallybigmonster.

EW FIGURE NUMBER FIVE. :P
It had it moments, but good god, the band needs to go back to basics: fucking Steelbath Suicide-era sound. THAT was good stuff, yessir.

Nanana, Steelbath was good, Chainheart Machine got better, A Predator's Portrait rocked even more, Natural Born Chaos was about the same quality and Figure Number Five kicks all their asses :)
and they are going to have a new album in the start of 2005.
And JACK, that comic is AWESOME :)
NP: Soilwork - Cranking The Sirens ;)
Omfg, I are the not so happy. Yet ANOTHER concert I can't go to!! Also, the whole Soilwork thing I'm staying out of till I do my homework on 'em!

I reckon they are a combination of the three. But they're just erring more on the side of punk. Metal. Goth. Oh, I dunno. They just rock!
And UPDATE: I like Slipknot's new single. *sobs* Sorry! I have let you all down! You mean Duality? I only heard 5 seconds of it, then my brother switched channel.
</kidding>
Yeah. Duality is good.
But seriously, I still don't like the majority of their stuff, it's just too much for me.Explain too much :)
Well, it's just too heavy and screamy and stuff. I'm more of a classic guy, like Iron Maiden and Queensryche and stuff.
Nightwish coming to Australia. Need to listen to some albums, anyone know a good place to download some of their stuff?
Shhh! Don't say that 'd' word here! You might find 'samples' on their website, 'Banger'll know the link most likely. But other than that, you might find samples lying everywhere.

I just saw Dokken with Jackyl and L.A. Guns. Man was that a sweet show!
I've got Monsters of Rock 1991. That was one bad ass concert, in an arial shot you can't see the end of the crowd! Pity the only realy good performance was by Pantera.
