I never got the art of br00tality... nor do I find it funny. I can do some horrendously low vocals, but I don't gurgle... gurgling annoys me. It all sounds like "ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh." Why can't they actually enunciate and speak, instead of gurgling?

I dunno, I blame the fact that too many European garglers use English lyrics even if they can't speak the language with much skill.

And you CAN do low pitched vocals without gurgling. I do them a lot. You just vibrate the entire back end of your mouth, instead of just your uvula and vocal chords. Gurgling is IMO the stupidest and easiest thing to do in metal.

I believe it is because thats what the lyrics are when they record, after that they make up some words for the lyrics

Yeah, anyone can do it. Which is probably why every band I've ever been in had grindcore influences, because anyone can make grindcore. Gurgling and punching the strings on a low-tuned guitar takes no effort.

I have never been in a band with grindcore influences save for Rectal Cannons, but that was a joke band, and I was the guitarist/grunter for that and I didn't gurgle.
