I consider you all brothers and sisters in Metal.
I look forward to a new year of new Metal to check out and being a part of this club.
You guys have taught me about a lot of bands and for that I am greatful.
Keep it Heavy.
Kick out the jams.

Our pleasure. You're a welcomed member my friend. You're the oldest and you have our respect.
I consider you all brothers and sisters in Metal.
Of course. Not too many sisters. You could call this a fraternity.

Definitely I expect good things to come out of 2007. I'm hoping. Plus the last Ministry album is coming out. THE LAST!
You guys have taught me about a lot of bands and for that I am greatful.
Same here. I wouldn't know half the bands I know without you and this club.
Keep it Heavy.
As always
Kick out the jams.

Me too, I'm really looking forward to 2007, although no interesting CDs to me that will be released in January, but February and March will be good. February will have Helloween's live album while March will have Manowar and Megadeth's new albums released. :D

Oh, it was a cover. No wonder it sounded so punk-ish. Anywayz, happy new year to all!
I can't believe it's 2007!

Done by guitars. Isn't it symphonic black when it's done by keys?
Anyway, here's a song of theirs: Mnemonic Shadows

I picked up Pantera Far Beyond Driven the other day it is pretty good

I heard it was an okay album. Not as br00tal as The Great Southern Trendkill and not as innovative as Vulgar or Cowboys.

Everything Pantera made after Cowboys sucked. Their only good CD's are I Am The Night, Power Metal, and Cowboys from Hell. Everything before I Am The Night is way too glam-y, and everything after Cowboys is annoying and influenced by numetal too much.

They've been known to do some punk-ish songs too. Like Night of the Vampire. The first time I heard it I was sure it was a Misfits cover or something.

I have all pantera, and Vulgar Display of Power is more like CFH 2/Pre-FBD

IMO, Cowboys From Hell was their greatest album ever. I love it.

It's one of the best power metal albums to ever grace the Earth, brilliant.
R.I.P Dimebag
Pantera isn't power metal. Sure maybe glam, not power. Using a falsetto doesn't equal power metal.

They made a CD in 1988 called Power Metal, nitwit.

Big deal, any band could make an album called Death Metal and it'll be Thrash.

Pure fucking power metal.

Ugh, nobody (except Penisclown) said they were power metal. Venom made an album called Black Metal yet it wasn't black metal.
OKAY THEN, I WAS RIGHT! Venom isn't Black I know. It's early proto thrash.

I never contested that. I just said that I never implied they were power metal, just that they made an album called Power Metal in 1988.

I knew that. Actually I like that album.

I've read on metal-archives that Pantera was power groove or something like that after their glam days
