Goatchrist has an Alexis audio interface. Idio has a Line 6 Toneport, and I'm not sure what Ghoul has, I'd imagine its something similar to GCs.
And I know how you feel, I want a Toneport myself so I can start recording :(.

Well you need hardware to use the software if you're recording bass :P. So I was just giving you the rundown.

It's a US-122 and Cubasis VST. I don't think it's similar at all to GC's.

It is in the sense that its a audio interface in a different vein to Line 6's stuff.... in that its less user friendly.

The software I use to MAKE music is Live 4.1.5. It came with the Line 6 Tone Port UX1 which I can also use to record my own bass lines.

I don't even have the Alesis yet :) i just ORDERED it. Should be here this upcoming week. Only uses a cheap mic before. No I shelled arund 320 - 330 Dollars out to get some good stuff.

Cool. That's exactly what it was supposed to sound like (or at least my contributions). A medieval action/adventure film, right when they either descend into the bowels of some cave or go into battle.
