Actually, turns out, Live is better for Ambient, electronica stuff. That'll be what I'll be submitting in the next week or two.

Ace, I love ambient. I've only ever made two ambient songs that were halfways to decent...
Ambience is cool but i'm really only into field recordings just for that atmospheric style.
I finished two songs, one 50 seconds, the other 4 minutes. Once I convert the songs to mp3 format then I'll submit them.
How do you convert them to mp3, they're .wav right now.

www.google.com Search for wav-mp3 converter.
And as far as ambient goes, I make minimalist ambient out of guitar textures, keyboards, and gentle singing.

only $129
I wanted to order the UX1 myself, but it is missing the phantom-power I need for condenser microphones (bought a dynamic and a small condenser one). I got this one instead. Two XLR input jacks ;)

a US-122 is only 200 bucks and comes with Cubasis VST, plus has phantom power.

I've got "Hail to England". That's enough.

Mine costs about 160 bucks (129 Euros) an has two XLR slots with PP. I'm satisfied :) It has Cubase as well.

Mine has 2 XLR inputs, two 1/4 inch jack inputs, 2 1/4 inch mono outputs, 1 1/4 inch stereo output, 2 RCA outputs, a direct moniter, PP, and individual output volume knobs for all 3 of the outputs.

Napalm Death? Deicide? A bass? It's like a trifecta of pure win.

Well, my problem is, when I converted the files, it now says. "Duration: 00:00:00" How do I fix that?

Nevermind I got the sound to work..thanks to the audio forum. Teehee. I'll upload it to putfile in 10 minutes.

My second song. My shortest one to date. 56 seconds of noir. If it doesn't work, tell me.
Enjoy my friends. It's not metal, it's ambient. Enjoy anyway. I'm proud of both but Pitch Black Cave/Supersonic is the better of the two.

That's pretty sweet actually, but you should do a song like that but with light acoustic touches and maybe a field recording. (I think a swamp late at night would be the obvious choice here)
But thats just my opinion

You know it.

Tell me about it.
I luuuurve mah bass. The action is alot better than my Ibanez, and the sound! Oh god that fucking metal sound...
Nice ambience, Idio, makes me feel like I'm really in a dark cave...

I've got to get off my ass and finish my incomplete compositions, I've got about six that need finalizing...

One thing...I live in New York Fucking City. No swamp near, around, or in the vicinity of my dorm room. Although it's a good idea, and Lustmord (primary influence here) did the same thing.

No I fixed it. I uploaded the songs, click the link in my above posts.

I added another song I made yesterday. I deleted noir. The new song is called Alleyway Chase, yet again dark ambient with a hint of noise. LINKY

Idio, listening to the fuck long song at the same time as Stars of the Lid is awesome. It's like I'm seeing the most radiant of caves and forests, bombarded with beauty. Could be that I'm excited to go to the woods.
