I have to admit, nothing is as chav repellant as Raining Blood or Angel of Death.

No. You have to find your taste in metal and your taste sounds like how mine was about a year ago. Next, you might start to like deathcore. Here are some deathcore bands I used to and some I still like.

Elysia
Suicide Silence
Abacabb
Suffokate

Then you will start too like some brutal death metal. Here are my current favorite bands.

Devourment
Decrepit Birth
Odius Mortem
Lord Gore

Let me know what you think.

What Idio said....also, prepare for brutal judgement. We don't take kindly to metalcore or borderline crap.

The beginning sounds TOO much like a synth. The rest of it, is very atmospheric though.

Well DUH. It's a very synthy song. It's supposed to sound fake and robotic.

Cubasis VST. The drums are performed, not programmed. In fact, nothing is programmed; it is all performed.

I realized that. I'm just starting to get the hang of the program I have. It's called Live. It has some pretty nice pre-recorded loops and synths and drums. I recorded some bass myself, but my headphones scare the crap outta me when the just get bad static out of nowhere.

Live is sexy, I love using it. My main piece of software is ACID, it's a nice simple sequencer good for recording jam sessions or electronica.

You can get a ten-track version for free (it's called ACID Xpress 5.0), and the regular version costs around $69,95. If you need total MIDI control and near-limitless options, give ACID Pro a try, it costs $374.96, but it's worth it.

I'll stick to Live. It came with the TonePort Tone UX1 so it's fine.

only $129

It came with hardware and the GearBox software so I could record my bass playing. I'd have to say I made off like a bandit.

I was accidently given a Firewire recording system last year (I don't have the right ports for it) and it came with ACID Pro and Live. I kept the discs and traded the system itself for an Ibanez Weeping Demon wah. LIve was sadly deleted when my laptop crashed (and I've lost the disc), but ACID Pro is still on my desktop.
