I'm not bothered if anyone likes or hates black metal. I just havn't been bothered to try checking out a good number of black metal bands. But I won't try listening to lots more black metal bands right now since I recently got into some other bands like Amon Amarth.

Hm? And how does that affect how he plays? He still must hit the drums on time and at the right speed, the triggers just make it cleaner then it would be through a mic. And he can drum greatly even without triggers..I think if i remember correctly that in arcturus he isn't using triggers.

I just got Better Than Raw by Helloween. I downloaded the whole album from Musicmatch legally. I haven't listened to all of it yet, but I heard the live version of Perfect Gentleman that was included. I actually decided to uncheck the box when burning it because I already have Master of the Rings, which includes the original, and Andi Deris totally fucks up at one point in the song.

I also recently downloaded (legally as well) Raise the Knife and Another Won from Dream Theater's live album, score, because I believe those tracks are currently only available on that album and I don't want to but a whole live album. I'll stick with studio albums. I downloaded Potato Pie, Clouds, and Lark's Tongue in Aspic Part 4 by King Crimson. I guess they don't quite count as metal, but I felt like sharing that because King Crimson is fucking great (especially their older stuff from the 70's and 80's).

Raise the Knife is orgasmic, BTW.
