Oh wait, sorry I remember you posting a pic of yourself a while back and your not. I just thought you know, with the totally spies, and the word shortcuts like "ppl". Sorry if any offence was taken.

just listen to the song pal -_-
Dunkeron...it would have been sweller if it had more than one riff and a bit of variation. The arrangement was kind of odd, and felt a tad rushed. The snare roll at around 1:00 doesn't really take the song anywhere...it sounds like someone has cut the drum track right in half.
Sorry if I'm being critical, but I'd rather give honest opinions than "lol, that's teh kewlest ever". And besides, it was cool anyway, just some niggling things about the arrangement. Strings sounded awesome :)
What kind of gear were you using? Guitar, amp, pedals, software, pre amps etc??
Um, did I get the right song? I got some techno crap that was pretty bad. Is that like background music or something?

nono, this is exactly the kind of response I want, constructive reviews. Thanks for your time man, much appreciated.
As for the repetitiveness, that's kinda meant to be this way with this song. It's my first real recording, so I picked my easiest song, the rest should have a lot more variation. The arragnement... could be better, I agree. It might have been a bit rushed as well <_<
As for gear: an incredible amount of synth orchestras, a 9 dvd drum computer, my 7 string custom Jackson Kelly, a Yamaha amp, some random mic and a mix table. All recorded with Nuendo 3.

Nah, I just care about the Change of Seasons track. I hope to have a file of it transferred to me through AIM once a certain person on my buddy list signs on.

Good Mourning/Black Friday > Holy Wars...
I like Good Mourning more than Black Friday. I also like Holy Wars better than The Punishment Due. And I also like Rust in Peace more than Polaris. Catch my drift? Yeah only the Mega fans will get that one.

Agreed. Although I'm not the biggest Megadeth fan, I did see them at Gigantour, and they were pretty good. But Mr. Mustaine was acting all quite and loner, I just wanted to punch him.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Dave's a god to me. Even though I play bass, I still respect him alot. At least Megadeth turned out better than Metallica.
And he wrote stuff on Metallica first 3 albums (If he says he wrote Leper Messiah I beleive him), why is it such a coincidence that after the first 3 they turned crap? It isn't a coincidence, Mustaine is just a brilliant songwriter.

First thing, *a lot, but I do agree. Megadeth turned out three times better than Metallica. Mustaine is a good songwriter, no doubting that, he's definitly no god. There are people better than him, not to override his talents though. And yes I play bass as well, and I have a large amount of respect for guitarists with talent.

A - Black Friday > Good Mourning
B - The Punishment Due > Holy Wars
C - I don't think Rust In Peace and Polaris are seperate songs. Its just a pretencious title for a song about nuclear warheads (Polaris in particular) rusting in peace.
The Unholy Alliance is coming to a town really close to my October 20th. Haha, I'm not going, fuck those bands.

K....good luck with that.

"DUNKERON" was very simple, but had a great sound to it. With a bit more variety, oit would have been a masterpiece.

thanks
it's only 2:30 minutes long or something, I should make it longer :)

I listened to Dunkeron as well, and it also reminded me of Bal-Sagoth, just not as cheesy "per se". Keeping it short actualy would make it better because a long song with a lack of variety would kill the ears. The orchestration fit perfectly and the riff, although with little variation, was pretty good.
