What a coincidence. I'm listening to that song right now. This is the first song by Burzum I've heard. To be honest, I don't think I care for this band. depressing the hell out of me.

Personally, I think that's what makes most of the music I listen to great. That's why I love Xasthur so much.

I joined my first band when I was 13. We were called "The Flaming Sugarlumps". We played inoffensive alt-rock, even though I wanted to play brutal death metal like Slipknot and Korn.

I really want to get that track sometime. It's great, but I don't want the rest of the album.

Why not? I know it's just a bunch of live covers, but they are some seriously good live covers!

Ever listen to Lurker of Chalice? Another one of Wrest's projects. Really fucking good ambient BM.

I think I will. I already like Leviathan, too.

I might get that soon. At least there's more tracks than that I EP has. :P But as long as I have the A Change of Seasons song, I'd be happy.

My friends are planning to make a band, but they're still in the middle of thinking of a name.

Bahumat, stop changing your damned name. Sheez it's hard keeping track of what your alias is.

Hey guys, I've finished the work for a split I'm participating in, with 3 other bands. Here's a track of my side :)

Shores of Sheol - King of the Olden Domain

please tell me how you like it :) it's my fastest, and at the same time most melodic material (Black Metal). King of the Olden Domain

With the exception of the main riff at the start and its repetition throughout the song I like it... very nice vocals :D. Drums are a bit low in the mix, and don't really give that edge of speed that I like in Black Metal... I don't really want to judge it too much, I'm not much of a BM fan, I just like the speed of bands like Emperor and such.... so for me I can't really comment on Melodic.

But yeah, I likes :D.

Thanks :) but the riff at the start is not repeated after the first fast part :) every slower passage uses a different riff-set. Listen closely ;)

Not the riff, the sound of it, sorry, I should of made that clearer... but yeah, the sound just doesn't appeal to me. The rest of the guitars and stuff are nice.

And stop winking at me, you big homo :P

Nice BM, but the echoesque guitars annoyed me after a while. The vocals were very kvlt, and actually quite understandable, very epic, sorta like Bal-Sagoth minus the keyboards. The recording sounds like it was recorded in a warehouse (hence the echoesque sound)

In true Black Metal words, it sounds like a group of orcs marching at full speed, shouting their battlecry.

Hey, for anyone who cares, Duffeknol (TotallySpies) and I are making an ambient project together, entitled Terra Et Tempestas. It's latin (thank Duffy for that) for Earth and Thunder.

It's gonna be really atavistic, pagan, and spiritualistic. In other words, slow, dreamy, and ambient.

But it may only cost about £5, which isn't a lot. Yes, I have loads of CDs to get as well and I won't mind buying EPs as long as there are good tracks on them.

Megadeth are not cheesy bitch. Holy Wars is a damn good song in fact. Manowar's Holy War on the other hand is extremely cheesy. But not Megadeth's.

I'm back from the Royal Show btw
