I saw Hate Eternal in April. They were awesome. As for Suffocation, they're one of my favorite bands, so I doubt they'll disappoint no matter how boring they may seem.

Likewise. Erik Rutan is king mill, and they captivated me for the 70 minutes or so they were onstage. I was not bored by them at all.
And as for Suffocation, I haven't seen them live, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't disappoint me. I've seen some live video clips, and they didn't seem so bad. Maybe not as animated as some bands out there, but they put on a solid performance.

I actually never heard (of) them before Wacken '05 (where they played), but I really had to walk away. The music wasn't my thing, but not THAT bad or anything, it was listenable, and if the show was alright I would've stayed. Oh well. They didn't amuse the great Dunkerfool, their loss.

I remember getting into Slipknot and liked them a lot (this was back in October last year when I didn't know much about the "nu metal is not metal" thing). A few months later, I thought "Meh." to their music. Maybe because I found better stuff like power metal music. I think they're ok and I don't mind listening to a few songs of theirs every now and again. Lamb of God, well, I listened to a few songs of theirs and I wasn't interested in their music. I may give them another try.
My friend is a huge Skipknot fan and he showed me some bad ass songs that got me into lsitening to them again

Yes, it's a very good thing. I have most of their songs from Imaginations from the Other Side stuck in my head right now. :P Mainly because I got the CD on Saturday and have been playing it a hell lot.
