Anyone listen to the industrial metal sounds of Rammstein? I'm listening to it as I post, they're a german band if anyone that has heard one of there songs but didn't know the language is wondering.

Dude, you're like the millionth person to ask that. Rammstein is the most popular industrial rock bands there is. I honestly doubt that nobody's heard of them. Seriously. Most importantly, they're not metal.

Just got back from Gothenburg, and from a true metalhead's view I must've wasted the whole 1½ weeks I spent there. I didn't go to a single concert nor did I buy any evil knives to cut myself with...

I, however, bought the albums "My Arms, Your Hearse" and "Blackwater Park" by Opeth, "Sonic Firestorm" by DragonForce and "Images And Words" by Dream Theater. So far I've been deeply satisfied with my purchases.

Well, it took me the whole week to find a shop that sold records from OPETH! And the weather doesn't allow too much clothing anyhow, so the actual "scene" was pretty well hidden. It was all a chaos because of a teenage football competition that was held there at the same time as my visit... well, my visit wasn't "held"... anyhow... I've seen rural towns more metal than Gothenburg, but maybe I wasn't really looking from the real places... It remains a mystery...

OMG new Iron Maiden album: A Matterof Life and Death. It features long ass songs (by Maiden's standards), clocking in at 70 minutes long with 10 songs on it. A couple songs are even 9 minutes long.

Iced Earth - Dantes Inferno
Blind Guardian - And then there was Silence
Avantasia - The Seven Angels (this ones my favorite)
Helloween - The Keeper of the Seven Key's

If you guys know of any that I havent listed, let me know.

If you know of more then, yeah I do. I dont know about many Power Metal bands, besides the ones I listed and a few others like Edguy, Savatage, Angra, and Hammerfall.

I know Symphony X have The Odyssey clocking in at 24 minutes, but thats all I know as far as they go.
Nightwish have Ghost Love Score which is just over 10 minutes too.

And pretty much every Dragonforce song comes close to 10 minutes (8/9ish normally).
