Monkor from MTVHell, correct?
While we're on the topic of death metal, everyone should listen to Nunslaughter. Now. Do it damn you.

That sounds huge. But as usual their not coming anywhere near here. Megadeth and Overkill, man that would be a fucking awesome concert.

I like them. :)
Behemoth
They're not bad.
Blind Guardian
A great band.
Demons and wizards
Iced Earth
And so are these.
Kreator
I still have to try and listen to them a little more just to know whether I want to get a CD of theirs or not. However, I've not bothered to listen to a few more of their songs, same for a lot of other bands.
Sepultura
Good band, although I didn't like Roots much. There were only a few tracks from Roots that I liked. I do hope their albums before Roots are a lot better.
"Arise" the album by Sepultura is an awesome thrash album
I haven't liked Sepultura ever since Max Cavalera left.
Check out Arch Enemy if you haven't heard any before. Good death sound

There new one kicks ass though Dante XXii or whatever the numerals are, Arch enemy is good though I like back it was a guy singer burning bridges is such an awesome album.
You gotta admit she is an awesome female vocalist
Doomsday Machine is an awesome album imo
btw check out 8 Foot Sativa (NZ Metal Band) www.8footsativa.com
I was recently told that if I liked Avantasia that I should check out Edguy, now I've heard of Edguy several times before but I've never actually heard any of their music. Whats your guys opinon before, before I buy an album from a band I've never heard before.
?

Forget Roots, go for Arise and Beneath the Remains. Those are their best albums.

I liked them since I heard About to Die for the first time. I don't think their other songs are that good or special, but I do like them a lot
Ah, I think you were talking about DISMEMBER then :)

Edguy kick ass, however they're not quite the same sound as the Avantasia albums.
Now while I haven't heard quite so much of their older stuff I can say I liked the last two albums (Hellfire Club & Rocket Ride), with Hellfire Club definatly being the better of the two. Apparently
Mandrake's very good as well, though I can't say for myself.

I've listened to a few songs from Arch Enemy. I think they're ok, just nothing interesting to me.

From what I've heard, that album is really bad.

I was thinking about getting Doomsday Machine, but I then thought if I didn't like Children of Bodom's Are You Dead Yet? album, I might not like the Doomsday Machine album either.

I've only listened to a few songs of theirs, but I do think they are good. I'll have to get their Hellfire Club album.

I should get Arise or their first album.

I've decided that the best North American metal album ever is Strapping Young Lad's Heavy As A Really Heavy Thing.

I have that album, I actually bought it. It's got it all. It's catchy, it's awesome, and it's incredibly, incredibly funny.

"Japan" and "Satan's Ice Cream Truck" are two of the best songs ever written.

I second all of those notions, and by the way, HAARHT isn't their best, i would have to say City or Alien. Those are great albums, took me a while to find City though
Here I am, bored with everything.

Meh, I fail to see how any christians would be offended by that, it has nothing to do with the beliefs and I actually didn't notice it that much, in fact, I saw "goat christ" and went,"hmph. ok."
And yes, I am indeed christian. And a heavy metal lover! My fave bands include:
slipknot, system of a down, mudvayne, murder dolls, marilyn manson, mushroom head,
taproot, atreyu, godsmack, metallica, him, stone sour, slayer, bullet for my valentine(no,
they are not emo! They are thrasher metal to the few who think they're emo for some
gay reason), killswitch engage, as i lay dying, rage against the machines, cky, nirvana,
a perfect circle, tool, staind, guns n roses, korn, saliva, linkin park, and avenged sevenfold.
Okay, quick question...
I was said to ask you, as you guys may know.
What is Ozzy saying 23 seconds into "No More Tears"?
It's not in the lyrics...
thanks!

No you're not. You only mentioned two real metal bands, Metallica and Slayer.

System is the freakin best band, other than Sabbath, to ever walk this earth
and Zombie... eh... some of his stuff is good
not his new CD though... that sucks ass
And Slayer doesn't suck as much as Metallica
Metallica needs to DIE!
