I just finished my Manowar "Courage" cover, singing, symphony, solos and all. It's 100x cheesier than the original, and a few minutes longer. It has a 4 times as long guitar solo, plus a surprise ending borrowed from another Manowar song that only TRUE Manowar fans can pick out.

I got into a debate before with my friend. He's a massive Bodom fan and he's just started a Melo-Death band inspired by Bodom. So I told him that Bodom are Power Metal. So we had a nice argument about it. With some wonderful analogies... music as a library :D. Sadly I didn't convert him to truthful view.

Bodom aren't really power metal because they don't sing about dragons or magical swords and they keep the homoerotica and phony violence antics to a very bare minimum.
