I wasn't aware of Dragonforce being there, or SYL. The only bands I heard were Underoath, Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, and a few other bands that spark no interest for me whatsoever. If I manage to get a free ticket from a friend that has an extra or two, then I'd definitely go, if nothing else but to get out of the house and enjoy myself.
I've only heard three, maybe four songs by Dragonforce. They have a nice sound instrumental wise, but on a few of their songs the singing/lyrics didn't impress me too much, although not terrible. They did however have that "cheesy" metal sound (don't get me wrong, I mean that in the best way possible. I love that sound, you know, the generic 80's metal band, I.E Megadeth, "Holy Wars" especially). I'm not sure if you've ever heard of Sonata Artica, but I heard one of their songs "Wolf & the Raven" yesterday, and in a sense it kind of reminded of Dragonforce, although not completely, Dragonforce has a distinct sound seperate from that of Sonata Artica.
