Your taste of music can't be predicted only by one band that can be listened even if you don't really like metal music
Here are some bands I could suggest "blindly":

Sorta things came in my mind when I thought on the style of Rammstein

You could also venture down the Neue Deutsche Harte rabbit hole for similar German bands.

I used to be with it. Then they changed what it was.

Now what I'm with isn't it and what's it seems weird and scary to me.

It'll happen to you!

Because I'm a melodeath dork, a day where there's new Insomnium is a good day.

Beast in Black have a really infectious energy to pretty much all their songs that I always found appealing. These aren't hugely similar in terms of instrumentation or anything, but they do sort of vaguely remind me of BiB in that they have quite a fun & upbeat tone:

And in new music today, we have 1914's newest release about Messines Ridge, "Pillars of Fire". They're more or less "what if Sabaton, but death metal?" which I dig. The Blind Leading the Blind was a god damn amazing album.

And for the melodeath enthusiasts among us, new Omnium Gatherum today too!

This is more psychedelic/stoner metal, but I still really enjoy it. Purson was sorely underrated. I saw them open for Ghost a few years ago and greatly enjoyed them.

Speaking of bands I miss, here's Quo Vadis with the absolutely phenomenal "Silence Calls the Storm". Sad I never got to see them live.

Yeah...I know I went in two completely separate directions here, but whatever. Both songs rule.

I do love me some stoner rock/metal. Thanks for the suggestion, I need to listen to more. I'd recommend Lucifer if you havent heard of em already, sorta similar psychedelic vibe.

Also, fuck yeah!!! Mid-Late 2000s melodeath hit so hard, that shit melted my face back when I discovered them during high school ImI. That intro is so iconic.

And for shits and giggles, here's some Neue Deutsche Harte that's been stuck in my head for the last few days.

Today's Facebook memories taunt is that 7 years ago, I was at an Amaranthe show and 8 years ago, a Kadavar one. That Kadavar show was all kinds of amazing too. The supporting acts of Scorpion Child, Wilson, Gypsyhawk and Mothership made for one hell of an old school rock night.

Today, Facebook taunts me by reminding me that 8 years ago, I saw Nine Inch Nails live for the second time. To this day, their lighting package remains one of the best I've ever seen. Was super impressive.

How about some new black metal today?

I wouldn't necessarily call Enslaved black metal (at least not new Enslaved), but it's still super good. They're one of the bands that surprised me the most seeing live. Great show.

One memory of mine relating to Ghost is a taunt. Was supposed to have seen them back in 2013 (just before Infestissunam was out) but just as I was about to board the train down to London, I realised only then I brought the wrong tickets with me and as a result missed out entirely.

Worst part was the show was only something like £6. Obviously seeing them doesn't go for that cheap these days.

One day I will get to see them even if it's only the one time ever.

That sucks. I saw them shortly after Meliora came out, so they hadn't exploded just yet and were still playing clubs. The next time they were in town, they were playing arenas.

The best shows are always small ones at clubs. One of the best shows I ever went to was an Arkona show at a tiny club in Toronto, the Hard Luck. Like...you are basically face to face with the band. They had finished their set and I was waiting a bit for coat check before leaving, but then they came back out and played another 30 minutes. There were probably about 50 people left in the place if that. It was the most intimate thing I've ever experienced.
