I can't stand Marduk's or Dark Funeral's repetitiveness, I can't stand Dimmu's symfonical shit, I can't stand Mayhem's static sound, I can't stand ALL of Borknagars music, and I DEFINETLY hate shit like Rotting Christ, I know DC++ superunderground bm hubs that will ban you forever if you even dare to share a single song by them. They sound like crap too imo.
The only bm I really listen to are Immortal, Lord Belial and Darkthrone. Mainly because they have cool riffs, but if a song is leaning too far to the direction of static repetitiveness, I'm skipping to the next. It's just not my thing, you know ;)

Electronica CAN be good, but only if you are in the mood. Ulver, Mortiis, Aborym and the other bands that tend to have something electronica-ish about their sound are just fine to me, they just cant feed my hateand anger ahen I am in my very very bad moods, and thats when stuff like Wolfnacht and Behexen kick in.
In way though, for a light listening, you'd find in my cd player even stuff like Prodigy or Neurogod or Zenapolae. Its just that its not the music I prefer, the music that GETS to me, the music that represents me and to which I am dedicated, as is Black Metal, some Death, some Doom etc.

Listening to Ulver in the dark is comparable to toking up about 1.50 dollars worth of weed. However, when I toke up, I usually toke up 20 or so dollars, and the end result (especially when listening to Teaching in Silence) is that I end up tripping balls.
