Heavy Rocks I & II are amazing albums. Boris needs to bring out a Heavy Rocks III.
Also I didn't know til just now that Ian Astbury (singer for The Cult) sang on the song Riot Sugar. Thats just sounds weird to me. I mean whenever I think of Ian Astbury singing I think of Fire Woman or She Sells Sanctuary.

I dreamt I was at a Boris concert and that I asked Wate if it was possible to buy a physical copy of the first Heavy Rocks album. Weird dream, considering that Wate seemed to understand both french and english perfectly. And the band also had a large amount of Heavy Rocks album. Which made the dream even more awesome. Even though I still wish I could get the first Heavy Rocks on album for real.

I dreamed that I was walking through a random supermarket and there were KKK members all over the place telling non-KKK members that its okay if you have flaws because its not your fault. It was [insert minority here]'s fault.
Then the building exploded ._.

The first part of the Boris show was a band of six or seven people. The performance consisted of the guitarist strumming one power-chord, than all the band members started throwing pies at the faces of people in the audience. Best show ever!
Also, I've received my Sunbather album IRL, yesterday :)

I dreamed about a killer clown going around in a house full of kids trying to hide from him, and he found all the kids one by one and killed them, it was pretty cool.

Thats sounds like it was an amazing show. What kind of pies were they?

I'm still waiting on my Baroness Maida Vale EP ._. I got a chance to listen through it though. It's actually not that bad. I think I even prefer the version of Cocainium off of the EP more than the one on the album.
I had a dream where the Zombie Apocalypse happend and Daryl from Walking Dead was in my group and we were discussing a plan and for some reason I had my hand on his shoulder lol he said "Get your hand offa me" lol
I woke up like WTF? Lol
When I die. It will be in a blaze of glory.
So I looked it up on setlist.fm and apparently this is the "average set list" Black Sabbath have been doing for this tour.
01 War Pigs
02 Into the Void
03 Under the Sun/Every Day Comes and Goes
04 Snowblind
05 Age of Reason
06 Black Sabbath
07 Behind the Wall of Sleep
08 N.I.B.
09 End of the Beginning
10 Fairies Wear Boots
11 Methademic
12 Rat Salad/Drum Solo
13 Iron Man
14 God Is Dead?
15 Dirty Women
16 Children of the Grave
Encore:
Paranoid
This is where it confused me with the set list. It said
"Encore:
Paranoid
(Sabbath Bloody Sabbath intro)
Zeitgeist"
Does that mean they play 2 encores or just one and its one of those two? Because it wouldn't make sense for Sabbath to not include Paranoid on their set list because it is arguably their most popular song.
the only reason I'm bringing this up is because I'm seeing them in exactly 1 week ._.
W00t I got my Baroness vinyl today.
I also got a download code with it so I can download the EP off of bandcamp.
I've gotten hold of Burzum Filosofem. Varg needs to shut up and only make music.

I feel the same when it comes to Dave Mustaine from time to time ._.
So Varg Vikernes is suing the French Government because he feels they "had no legal right to arrest him" when they did so earlier this year. He also said the following "We had done nothing wrong, and they never had any evidence suggesting otherwise. They shot our door open, traumatized our children, threw my pregnant wife and me in holding cells and kept us there for two-three days."
I have no idea if any of these have been mentioned before, but i'm posting anyway.
Good metal bands:
Varg
Ensiferum
Korpiklaani
Wintersun
Mudvayne
Dethklok
Arsis
Amon Amarth
Metallica
Slipknot
Rob Zombie
Korn
Disturbed
Cannibal Corpse

Not all metal, but passable, I think. welcome! Please feel free to bring up anything on your mind about metal.
Got the new Black Sabbath album AND Deep Purples In Rock for my birthday today. Both on vinyl. YAY!
That feeling when you go on eBay to buy one item and walk away with a few :(
I recently took a liking to Stormtroopers of Death after reading Scott Ian's wikipedia page and discovering them so I wanted to order their first album, "Speak English Or Die". Amazon wanted stupid money for a new copy so I hopped on eBay to get a used copy. Turns out the guy I was going to buy the CD from was selling a massive collection of albums so I ended up winning a few:
Stormtroopers of Death - Speak English Or Die (£3.30)
Stormtroopers of Death - Bigger Than The Devil (£3.70)
Metallica - Kill 'Em All (£1.45)
Megadeth - Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? (£1.24)
Megadeth - Youthanasia (£0.99)
Anthrax - Among The Living (£3.20)
Add on £6 postage to that and you get what I had to pay. Looking back, it's a little more than I'd liked to have spent but ah well, some quality thrash albums right there. I need to get more of the metal albums I like on CD at some point. The majority of my CD collection consists of British punk albums.
There were also a few other auctions that I bid on but didn't win. Sort of disappointed but ah well. I think those were:
Metallica - Ride The Lightening
Slayer - South of Heaven
Slayer - Reign In Blood
Megadeth - Rust In Peace
Recently I've been listening to a lot more thrash than I usually do.

Their full albums are on YouTube. I just love Scott Ian's guitar style, so to hear him playing stuff with more of a punk influence than Anthrax has is pretty neat.
The opening riff to the Speak English or Die album sounds awesome. Link.
Stormtroopers of Death, eh? Are you into much crossover thrash, Dean?
Totally bought this shirt today.
I was walking through a store and noticed it out of the corner of my eye and grabbed it. Only cost like $8 too.

I listen to it when I can but I don't think I'd consider myself "into it" because, although I like it, it's not really a genre that I follow all that much. I could probably only name a handful of bands and even then, most of them were probably old British hardcore bands that later took on more of a metal sound that eventually started getting called crossover thrash. Bands like The Exploited and to some extent Discharge. I'm not sure I can really think of any crossover thrash songs from Discharge, but wikipedia claims that's one of their genres. Discharge were definitely one of the bands that first made the blend of punk and metal though.
I'll take recommendations if you have any. I used to listen to Municipal Waste now and again but I think they're about the only band I can think of. It doesn't even need to be crossover thrash. I like thrash metal in general. Particularly the big 4, although with Metallica I tend to limit myself to their first two album. After those albums I think they started to tame their sound a bit and I didn't like it as much.

Been looking for some new shirts myself. I've been wearing most of the same shirts for years. I have 2 Anti-Nowhere League shirts that I've been wearing regularly for like 5 years or something. They're starting to fade and both have a hole. My Motorhead - The World Is Yours shirt has seen a lot of use too. Most of my other shirts are for various punk bands and they've gotten too small. I have shirts for a few bands: Macc Lads, Slaughter & the Dogs, The Damned, Haggis, Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Restarts, Sham 69. There's even a Hells Angels support t-shirt in there haha.

Out of all of my band-related shirts I think I've worn my Nirvana Rolling Stone Magazine shirt the most. So its worn to hell. It's got holes all over it, its fading, and I think it's starting to get thinner o.O I'd get another one but I honestly CAN NOT find another one of that shirt anywhere I look.

Where did you get a Sham 69 or The Damned shirts?
I have: 2 Nirvana shirts, Van Halen, Queen, Black Sabbath, Sleep, Red Fang, Rob Zombie, 2 Pink Floyd, and The Grateful Dead. I feel like I'm missing one or two though....
