Just working12 hours a day in a factory, fighting the NWO,promoting freedom, exposing the corrupt and just listening to Ghost religiously. Speaking of Ghost you hear they had to change they're name to Ghost B.C?! GAAAAAY!!!
Oh yeah my girlfriend made me this for Valentines day. :3
Not really on Newgrounds much except to visit Hell, The one thing I'm still loyal to here.

Only in the US though, right? The name on the cover of the new CD will still be just Ghost, I'm pretty sure. Hopefully anyways, but either way Infestissumam will be great.

Why ?

Copyright issues with the name Ghost. You know, if they had started with the name Ghost B.C. to begin with, I wouldn't have minded as much. I know metal has been victim to a lot of generic names for bands but at least if they had that name all along, they wouldn't get mixed up with a bajillion other artists that so happen to be named Ghost whether metal or not.

Thats stupid.
Also why is Papa Emeritus now Papa Emeritus II?

Heres a few. Though I'm fairly certain you've listened to some of them.
Doesn't hurt to mention em though.
Reverend Bizarre
Acrimony
Black Land
Blood Ceremony (if you like female fronted Doom Metal where the singer can play flute like Ian Anderson)
Conan
Dark Buddha Rising
Slug Lord
Trouble
Vinum Sabbatum
Wino
Witch Mountain

I speak with Ponos on a semi regular basis. He's a pretty cool dude. It's funny that Goatchrist left, seeing as he started this whole thang.
Man, a lot changed since 2009 when I "went away".
If anyone can recommend any Threshold albums to me (apart from March of Progress which I already have), that will be most appreciated. I'm having a hard time finding the right album to go with next so it might be a matter of taking one at random. Hopefully this is the kind of band that have a safe bet for any of their releases.

None of us heard what happened to Goat. My assumption is his life had a busier schedule so hopefully he is doing well.

Bill said he was never coming back because of the childish bickering or something to that matter.

Yeah. Disagreing with his short-sighted views was "childish bickering". He said I was a dirty capitalist piece of shit (or something like that) and that I didn't understand anything about music because I said it was okay to support artists financialy and that it was okay for an artist to make a living from his music.
But apparently I'm the dumb kid...

Dayum! I don't really like the band, but that's bad news for them. The guy is a great drummer! And I'm pretty sure the fans won't like it.

It's funny how Nev and Dent both actually lefted and didn't just stop coming here. I can't remember when, but they both informed us that they wanted to leave Newgrounds and thus stop visiting the Metal Hell. Quite polite. Yet kind of sad...
Sigh - Gundali
To anyone here who is a fan of Agalloch
Don Anderson is selling one of his guitars that has been used extensively on tour and was used on their last album on eBay at the moment.
It's has a little under a day and a half left for bidding and its only up to $335

402 now :P Damn! That's a fucking piece of musical history! I can't imagine myself buying it because I wouldn't be able to honor it.
Great stuff though!

I'd actually be willing to buy it. But I dont think I'd feel right playing a guitar that has that much history involved in it.
I actually have enough on me to place a bid on it.
But I'm saving my money for other stuff at the moment :/

Did he use it for Ashes Against The Grain ? If so, you HAVE to buy it :P
So a bunch of bands (and a few other various sources) have gotten together and are selling some of their stuff for a fundraiser for Baroness after the bus crash. The people who are selling stuff are: Decibel Magazine, Earthless, Jeremy Hush (artist), Kylesa, Meshuggah, Municipal Waste, Mastodon, Napalm Death, Neurosis, Red Fang, Tankcrimes Records, Slam Magazine, and Victims.
If you wanna find out more you can check it out here.
And all money received from the items for sale goes directly to the band.
At 2/22/13 01:36 PM, HeavenDuff wrote: Did he use it for Ashes Against The Grain ?
Well it DOES say he used it on tour and to write and demo all Agalloch material from 2006-2012. So maybe.
But it only mentions Marrow Of Spirit.
If so, you HAVE to buy it :P
Haha I'll put it into consideration.
Hopefully it doesn't get too high in price before I make up my mind.
To add onto the Baroness Fundraiser thing Relapse Records said the following:
"You can auction off a year long subscription to receive a clear vinyl copy of every vinyl record Relapse makes in 2013 (and we'll set them up with the stuff that's already come out). Clear vinyl is never sold in store, only for friends of the label/bands. Limited to 100 copies.
There will be new releases from:
Neurosis, ASG, Ulcerate, Cough, True Widow, Windhand, Devourment, Red Fang, Howl, Rotten Sound, Call Of The Void, Blockheads, Black Tusk, Inter Arma, Bastard Noise, Brutal Truth, Exhumed, Coffins, Locrian, Revocation, Wolvserpent, and MANY more"
Can't say I wouldn't mind getting that haha.
I just listened to the new Suffocation album and I have to say it was a let down. The only new song I liked was Inversion but everything sounded so bad because of the overproduced quality. They've completely removed all bass and all high frequencies to make the guitars and vocals clear but it also made it boring to listen to since it lacked variations in the sounds.
Don Anderson's guitar was sold for $US 1775. I hope the new owner will play a lot of Agalloch with it !
Elsiane - In The Shadows

Oh wow, that ended up going for a lot! xD
I'm trying to get my hands on some of the material by Vladimir Cochet. He's a musician from Switzerland who his pretty much a one-man-band... or a one-man-three-band :P He worked alone (and sometimes with others for brief moments) on various projects. I have some of his stuff with the project Mirrorthrone, which is an Experimental Atmospheric Death/Black Metal band. But I can't find anything from his project Unholy Matrimony and Weeping Birth. Those projects look completely amazing! If you guys have anything to share, please do :) And otherwise, check his work. It's well worth it!
Demilich - Erecshyrinol
Kylesa has released a new song off of their upcoming album Ultraviolet which is coming out May 28th.
You can listen to it here if you're interested.
Got two Blind Guardian CDs last night.
Tales From The Twilight World and Imaginations From The Other Side.
Also my sister's boyfriend is still trying to use my N64.
But now he doesn't want to borrow it, he wants to keep it. To which I said no, because that would make the games I own for it pretty much useless. And I'm not just going to just give away games that I bought.

Both good albums. There's only one track on Tales I don't really care for (Altair 4) but everything else is magnificent. The Last Candle has quite possibly THE solo from Blind Guardian.

I haven't gotten around to listening to both of them yet but listened to some of Tales From The Twilight World and liked what I heard. Together they were both only $16 too! The place that had them also had two other ones but they were a bit more because they were unopened. I wanna say they were Battalions Of Fear and Somewhere Far Beyond.

What a shame, have fun with your mid :D:D;d
no idea why they even do that though, literally no one likes it
Awesome news for Electric Wizard. Mark Greening is officially back in the band.
Granted they still don't have Tim Bagshaw but its still awesome hearing that two of the 3 founding members are in the band.
