So I was offered two Mercyful Fate cds if I let someone borrow my N64.
Should I do it?

Pardon the trivial nonsense but I was curious about what was the very first 20+ minute track written for heavy metal. I did a bit of digging up on Metal-Archives (which I'm surprised I could do considering how unstable their servers are right now) and unless you put Rush into consideration, the earliest I found was Venom's At War With Satan. OK, so it's a few seconds short off the limit but damn close enough. So yeah, that's the pointless trivia for the day.

So someone borrows your N64 for a while and you get to keep the Mercyful Fate CDs? Sounds like a good trade. Just make sure you two agree on a certain length of time for it being borrowed.

The two cds are Mellisa and Don't Break The Oath.
Though I don't trust the person who wants to borrow the N64 though.
He has a habit of breaking things when he gets mad.....

If that's the case, no dice.

Me too, really. He's always just all over the place. It makes me think of this.
I bought a Fu Manchu cd today for $1 o: It's this album.
Also a close ehm "friend" of mine keeps blowing up my feed thing on Youtube because she's been going around liking a ton of Death videos xD Though I suppose it's my fault for subscribing to her haha.

I've known him for years. If he breaks it thats NOT going to happen.
He'd just expect me to get the N64 fixed so he can do it again.

My preferred album out of the first two Mercyful Fate albums. As for King Diamond's works, I have Abigail and do like it a lot. Only listened to "Them" once and recalled good stuff from it. I have not listened to as much albums from King Diamond as I should have. If my friend finds that out, he's not gonna be my friend anymore. :P
King Diamond is my favorite classic heavy metal vocalist, better than Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford etc. Might go see him live this year.

He sings well, but his creative work is kind of... weird. Some of the stuff he puts together just doesn't work for me. It ends up with a goofy feeling, but I don't think he does that on purpose. It's not a Primus goofy... it's a socialy awkward goofy...
IMO, Welcome Home is one of the best traditional heavy metal songs ever.

Whenever I hear "Welcome Home" I immediately think of Coheed And Cambria.
Which is weird because I do not like them.

Great album. When my girlfriend (Melissa) heard I liked it she shat brix cuz she has a slight obsession with King Diamond.
I have to find out whether my girlfriend is a fan of King Diamond or not. I know she likes Burzum a lot. Hopefully she does like King Diamond.

good to know you're still here. I was beginning to wonder.
I wish Goat, Idio, Bill, SOAS, Ponos, Nev, and D3nt would come back. Dang, I'm even starting to miss Kiddi.

Anyone here listen to Buried Sleeper?
It's some pretty good Doom Metal.
Also Uncle Acid And The Deadbeats released this a few weeks ago. So in case anyone here listens to em and hasn't heard this by now.....here ya go ._.
Good to know you're alive, Smeagol. I was wondering what the hell happened to you.
Just went back through some of the oldest posts of the Metal Hell and realized I was around back in 2005. Somewhere around the 207th page, I was posting stuff in my very bad attempt at english :P I think I might be one of the most ancient members :P (except for Ghoul of course).
Happy 65th Birthday Tony Iommi
Heres to 65 MORE years haha
which would be physically impossible ._.
because he'd be 130 years old.....
I'd like to get Doom Metal recommandations based on my favorite bands of the genre, which are :
Om

Bongripper
Thorr's Hammer
Boris
