For some reason it just seems that all these bands they "influenced" did a way better job than they did. Sure they had good ideas. But most of the time their songs were simplistic wannabe evil thrash metal tracks. They had good riffs, but the song progression always seems to make the tracks forgettables and mediocre.
I can understand their influence. But damn... I can't like them...
