I didn't ask for any Metal gifts for Christmas. My mother did get me an album though. She bought me an album of some of Maurice Ravel's compositions played by the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Seiji Ozawa. It is absolutely fantastic. One of my favorite classical compositions is on that album. Le Bolero de Ravel.
Here you have the whole tracklist of the album
I will post the album cover at the end of my post.
If anybody likes classical music or le bolero, I suggest you listen to this interpretation. It sounds absolutely great :)

Rediscovery pt. II - The New Mythology (1380-16%)
Communion and the Oracle (1349-16%)
Egypt (1272-15%)
Evolution (The Grand Design) (1232-14%)
I think... I voted for these four tracks exactly. Or maybe I didn't pick Rediscovery... I don't remember. But the other three are fantastic tracks and it's obvious that I voted for these.
The Odyssey (total voters: 3191)
The Odyssey (2017-19%)
What a surprise!
Accolade II (1968-19%)
Awakenings (1606-15%)
Inferno (1534-15%)
I also voted for Accolade II and Inferno. I don't remember if I voted for Awakenings though.
Paradise Lost (total voters: 2758)
Set the World on Fire (The Lie of Lies) (1460-15%)
Paradise Lost (1455-15%)
Revelation (Divus Pennae ex Tragoedia) (1192-13%)
The Walls of Babylon (1132-12%)
Makes a whole lot of sense. Set The World On Fire and Paradise Lost are masterpieces!
Iconoclast (total voters: 2859)
Iconoclast (1681-16%)
When All is Lost (1428-14%)
The End of Innocence (994-10%)
Electric Messiah (967-9%)
Good selection :)

Tell me if you like my recommandations or not :
I thought that Sodom, Morbid Saint, and Kreator was pretty badass. Meanstreak was good too and Watchtower was okay. I'll look around for a couple more thrash bands abd update my list :)
I knew you would like Sodom and Kreator. But I'm really happy you like Morbid Saint. They are not like the bands you listed first.
It's kind of sad that you don't like Watchtower. There is no and there won't ever be any Progressive Thrash Metal like what these guys recorded! And that bass! Damn!
I really like Meanstreak two. Too bad you don't like them more :P

May as well save your money on better albums. I've already got a few bad apples in my CD collection.
Same here...
And we really shouldn't buy LuLu... Nobody should even for the lulz. If nobody buys this shit, maybe Metallica will get the message...

I lol'd at Watchtower being the band you enjoyed the least.
Sad :(
They're not the only band to avoid their biggest hit live. Primus almost never plays My Name Is Mud, before 2010 Dream Theater used to only play Pull Me Under every so often, etc.
Dream Theater should play all the Images And Words album, and that's all that matters to me :P
