I'm on fire !!!

Someone posted about it a while back, I've been telling everyone. They're going to my festival, I might see them a second time. Who's the replacement anyway

Yeah, I'm going to have some brutal surgery and I'll probably be ok in a month. It's pretty shit though.
Damn drunk skateboarding.

I'm a set you on fire in a minute.
Album I'm loving right now:
It's like a good Dream Theater. Listen to "Dark Matter".
So... the line-up so far for Heavy MTL 2011:
Disturbed
Trivium
Suicide Silence
Straight Line Stitch
Godsmack
Machine Head
All Shall Perish
Red Fang
In Flames
Unearth
Kingdom of Sorrow
I feel like fuckin' crying...
UGH GOD DAMN THAT LINE-UP IS SHIT
Especially since Red Fang are going, and they're really really good. And all the other bands suck.

It's a great album. It has a good mix of rock, slower songs, and atmospheric textures.
Yeah, I remember you like Porcupine Tree too. They're really sweet, I have heaps of their stuff now.
Signify works really well as an album, it is pretty slow compared to The Incident and FOABP and Nil Recurring and shit. I like Signify more than Lightbulb Sun I think.
Also,
So the Morbid Saint vocalist accepted my friend request on Facebook. I feel awesome. Time to listen to some Morbid Saint.

I have one album of theirs, pretty sick thrash that's heavy like a demon, I like it.

Spectrum of Death is the magnum opus of thrash. You should add him too. Also check out Morbid Scream.

I will have to agree :) It kicks major asses !!!
So guys Anaal Nathrakh
What do you think?
I like what I've heard so far, not sure what kind of Metal I would call it though.

Whooooo 2400 pages of metal.
Lol that reminds me kinda of a grindcore band I wanted to start a while back, I was gonna call it 101 misuses for a chainsaw and all the song names were going to be things you wouldn't usually use a chainsaw for. I.e. Chainsaw trumpet, chainsaw babysitting, chainsaw hairstyling, chainsaw massage, etc. etc.
Haha. What would you guys add to the line-up of misuses? I may still wind up making this band as a joke one day.

I've heard of them in the past, but never listenned to them before.
I'm doing it right now.
Metal Archives says they are a Black Metal/Grindcore band.
I would tend to agree.
Add some Death Metal elements, and that's pretty much it.
They sound pretty good.
I guess I should get one of their albums.
Oh yes, and I'm writting in Bill format, cause he's awesome and this is a little homage to him.
Hail Bill !!!
Anaal Nathrakh - More Fire Than Blood

Really, I'm not sure which album is my favorite. It's whatever I'm in the mood for. If I'm in the mood for longer more metalish songs I go for Fear of a Blank Planet. If I want a good concept album, I choose The Incident. It all depends.
Pretty nifty stuff, my niece (although she is my age) and I were catching up recently. Her boyfriend has a project called MUSK OX, which Agalloch seen and contacted him to tour/open for them. Which I couldn't be more happy and proud of him to accomplish on its own. To not only be making/releasing your own music, but being founded by members of a reputable band themselves and asked to play with them too. It's a pretty big deal imo. Or at least honorable.
Although nothing is official yet, I'll probably be getting on the guest list and help her out with merc and possibly meet the band. Fingers crossed at least.
Now only if I could apply such determination and success to my own fields..
RoseSOAS: you should know i dont think this far ahead
Me made simple: well you already thought as far as holding a chicken while in your underwear

Yeah when I say 'What I've heard so far' I basically mean More Fire Than Blood which sounded pretty awesome to me.

Wow! That's great!
They are one of the two bands who are going to open the show I'm going to see in Montreal. Can't wait to see Agalloch live... This is going to be great !!!

The Incident is totally my favourite at the moment but maybe that will change.
Thanks for the Earth recommendation Duffyballs.
Also, first thread I look at on MA forums today, and I see a post about Sculptured and I'm like, shit this guy must be Duff.
Look at name.
It's Duff.
Made me lol :D

Wha- I thought you already knew about them :O If my memories are any good, I think you're the one who got me into Sunn O))) at first. And usually, people who enjoy Sunn O))), are also Earth fans (or at least they know about them). Anyway, I'm happy I could share 8-)

Knew about them, yes. Haven't been fucked listening yet. I know, weird hey. And I don't even have a Sunn 0))) album anymore, only the Boris split which is pretty unique in their discog and Boris'. I should get Black One.

I've had heaps but at the moment it's "ProjectileZombies".
Weird name hey, wtf.

Death/Grindcore with a Black Metal base. Do Not Speak will always be my most brutal song of all time.
This has to be the most unmetal looking metal band ever!
Orphaned Land... Are they good by any chance?
got Ackercocke's discog, the rest of the Pentagram albums I didn't have, and Lux Occulta's other albums since I loved the Mother and the Enemy. I listened to a bit of Dionysos and I'm not really digging it. nothing like Mother and the Enemy. I also got Mafia and Oracles by Fleshgod Apocalypse. Aaaaand I got a bunch of albums by Vitalij Kuprij, who is hit and miss. He's had a lot of good guitarists work with him like Greg Howe, Tony Macalpine, and he had Michael Romeo on one song. And I don't know if I mentioned that I got a bunch of Voivod albums.
Also, I finally got Power Hor by Lesbian, which is a FUCKING AWESOME ALBUM. Y'all should check it out. freaking sweet stuff.

Now that I think of it, Blood Mountain is my favortie Mastodon album and Crack the Skye is my second favorite.

I've heard from numerous sources that they are apparently quite good.
