I just rented Alan Wake, and I loved that bit aha, brilliant game by the way, I recommend it to you guys if you like horror/actiony type games.

Haven't played it yet, but I do own it. Can't wait to pop it in. I have way too many games to catch up on right now, but so many new games are coming out I want badly. Dead Space 2, anyone?

I got the new Stratovarius album yesterday. It isn't miles better than Polaris as I wanted it to be but it's still adequate. I'd only recommend this album to those who are big fans of their music.

Is this going to be a yearly thing? If that's the case I'll be glad to have another opportunity to attend this awesome event. However, I can only see myself going to one of these festivals if I was a very rich person. Not only would I need money for the show itself, I'd also need money to book a flight to wherever the ship is departing.

Dragon Age 2 is a maybe for me. I tried Origins the other day and I can't get into the storyline yet. The characters look rather dull to me and so far for the gameplay it's just slashing with my sword. Hopefully the game gets better later on. I'm even trying to play this game with a selective playlist consisting of power and folk metal.

The way you talk about it, it sounds good. I'm a little into ambient, I listen to a lot of droney things and I like trippy keyboard stuff. This stuff sounds like next level ambient though, I must try it or some shit.

I'm pretty off chops hey. A girl I knew died today aged 17. Bummed me out a bit.

LAWL

Now that I'm all chilled out I'd like to say sorry to Duff in advance, I'm just a little drunk.

I watched Scarface today, for the first time. I've been alive 17 years and 10 months and this was my first time. That's tragic, because I thought it was awesome. YOU DIE MOTHERFUCKER

I NEED A NEW ALBUM TELL ME ONE GOOD

This year has been interesting so far hey. It's been one month of 2011, and:

I took acid for the first time, I've done it three times now. I'm probably going a bit too overboard atm but I start work soon and I doubt I'll be doing it much.

Acid has been fun and intense, I do enjoy being on drugs and socialising and having fun. A really awesome girl I know died today and she was my age, you have to have as much fun as possible every day and not take this shit for granted.

A lot of my friends smoke rock, and one of them, an absolute legend named Jack Maskrey just came back from up north.

Friday I went and chilled with him and some crackheads, threw in 50 bucks, smoked 120 bucks worth of crack, stayed up till Saturday.

Crack is an ok drug but NOT WORTH THE MONEY and I'm not going to continue doing it at all, only special occasions when it's there. SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON DRUGS IS RIDICULOUS. Marijuana and beer is fucking better for the money.

Saturday I was feeling a little out of it, I'd been drinking a little. A tropical cyclone was said to hit us on Saturday. We drove down to a skatepark..

We saw dark purple clouds in the sky. We were at the skatepark for two minutes. Big brown shit coloured clouds are coming fast, suddenly the wind is picking up heavily. I've never seen big brown clouds it was pretty weird.

15 people ride as fast as they can away from the skatepark. We all get in the car. Shit is flying everywhere, trees were snapping.

We went for a drive, and trees are all over the road, fences were fallen down, power poles were knocked over, and in one street, a power line snapped and it was hanging from the pole and lying on the ground.

We went to a few parties, saw a whole lot of people, got pretty fucked up on drugs, saw people who had got into fights, a fight was about to break out, people were yelling abuse at other people on a phone, the mood was intense. My three friends I was staying with had fallen asleep in a car too, but I was still going on my fucking bender.

I got home, watch Drawn Together and sleep.

Now, remember how a power line was half off the pole and lying across some grass? At 2 in the morning, when I had just got to sleep, I girl I had gone to school with and known for 7 years called Amber Finch was walking home from a party with some friends.

She stepped on the fallen powerline, and was electrocuted. A girl grabbed her, she was chain electrocuted from touching her. A guy then pushed them off the line, burning his hands severely just from touching them.

The girl named Amber Finch who stepped on the power line... She's now dead. She was always happy, and deserved to live a long long fucking life and she died at 17.

That shit just isn't fair.

R.I.P EVERYONE WHO HAS DIED YOUNG

Sorry for the diatribe, I love all you brothers and I hope you all live long lives because life is a little bit like Russian Roulette.

Intense weekend, I ALSO LISTENED TO METAL LIKE

Any HammerFall fans? I've just decided to check them out for the first time, starting with their 'Glory to the Brave' album and they seem pretty decent. My only minor complaint is the vocals. They just don't seem to quite fit. Either way, I'm going to continue listening.

Glory to the Brave is considered the best. They have great songs scattered across their albums. I still need to get Renegade and Threshold.

I used to listen to their stuff when I was in CEGEP. Crimson Thunder was a great album, but their next effort was Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken... and it sucked bad... It was a major dissapointment to me. I think I pretty much just forgot about these guys from this point on. But hey! Crimson Thunder was still awesome :) I guess I could give it a little spin :)

It's really airy stuff. The album I posted last page was inspired by the weather he encountered when he was touring the US. So it's inspired by prairie winds, thunderstorms, tornadoes and shit like that. I'll hit you up on facebook later tonight.

On normal difficulty and I'm only at the first part of the game. I got quickly sidetracked from this game by Assassin's Creed II, though.

Anyways, been out of the black metal scene of about 2 year or so, anyone want to update me on who's dead, who's sued who for stealing band names, who's been finally released from jail and what the decent new bands are?
