Ted Nugent does it well enough. He hunts his own food.
Anyway Varg does have a house or cottage rather that he lives in. He still needs some form of adequate shelter. Who's to say I couldn't live without the internet anyway?
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!
We're working hard to give you the best site possible, but we have bills to pay and community support is vital to keep things going and growing. Thank you for considering!

Liberals defend the exploitation of man by man, Conservatives defend the reverse.

So far not bad. If you wish to become a member of the Metal Hell, you'll need to list nine other bands.
I didn't realize there was a new Mekong Delta album. I want to try to get it.

Unfortunate for you, Korn, Slipknot and Drowning Pool aren't metal. We have different standards for heavy metal than others will. As for the other bands, I say yes to all, even though DragonForce aren't favourable around here. I'd say you're good, although your favourite bands aren't talked about all the time here. If you want to explore further in heavy metal, feel free to ask for recommendations.
Do you guys want to watch a movie full of metal and win? Watch Machete. I've been waiting to see that movie ever since it was a fake trailer in the double Grindhouse feature. It is beyond badass. GoryBlizzard endorses it.

I wouldn't say it's any more or any less metal than any Grindhouse movie... In fact, these movies are kind of grotesque... I don't really like em...

How to Train Your Dragon has vikings in it
That's pretty metal right?
D00d that movie was Machete is in my list of movies to buy when I get a job.
Hey guys, old metal news. Aerobic black metal dancers. Metal as fvck, right?

Definitely metul.
This is a big post, making short reviews of the stuff I downloaded or bought during the last two months and short reviews and opinions on these. Feel free to share your thoughts on these!
So I got my hands on The White EP by Agalloch, and I have to say that it's quite good :) Amazing Neofolk in fact. There is very little metal to be found in there, but it's still an amazing album. If you guys like Neofolk, you should enjoy this a lot :)
I also listenned to their split album with Nest, another good one to get if you like Neofolk.
I've also downloaded the album Rise To Dominate by Aeon, and I came to the conclusion that it's pretty hard to find outstanding Tech Death... There is too many generic bands playing that musical genre.
Talking about Death Metal... I've listenned to the split named Da Vinci Death Code byt four Italian bands; Fleshgod Apocalypse, Modus Delicti, Onirik and Septycal Gorge. Fleshgod Apocalypse only have two songs on this one, earlier versions of songs you can find on the full-lenght Oracles. Modus Delicti is a pathetic grindcore/slam guttural death metal... it's chaotic, random and filled with useless pig squeals. Septycal Gorge is generic tech death... but Onirik is a great find! It's brutal death metal, and it's quite good :) And I'm not a big fan of brutal dm... but these guys are great. If you guys are looking for some dm to add to your library, this is a good split to get.
I've also listenned to some Arcturus... two albums in fact... La Masquerade Infernale and The Sham Mirrors. These are pretty good, but somehow, I still feel that I might be missing the point... I have to give them a few more plays because so far, it's not leaving a definitive impression on me.
Next one on the list is the album Ample Fire Within by Ascend. This is a Drone Doom band founded by Greg Anderson from the band Sunn O))) and some other guy I really don't know :P I think the album is pretty good. It's not as dark and depressive as Sunn O))) work, but it's still very good. I suggest that Drone fans give it a listen :)
Next stop, Amerijuanican by Bongzilla. Amazing Stoner Metal... nuff said ! Very often I find myself playing the riffs from the title track in my head :)
Then comes The Olden Domain by Borknagar. I didn't listen to this one enough to make a good opinion. So far it's all positive though.
The Four Trees by Caspian, great Post-Rock bands. They sound somewhat like If These Trees Could Talk.
Dystopia the album, by Dystopia the band. This was recommanded to me by Nev, ages ago. I finally decided I should give it a spin, and it kicks asses. It's dirty, agressive, sludgy... I love it :)
I got two other albums: Songs of Moors and Misty Fields and Weiland by the band Empyrium. I still think that this band doesn't get enough attention in the Metal Hell. Anyone who's interrested in progressive, neofolk, dark symphonic metal and black metal should definitely listen to their stuff, it's beautiful.
Fleshgod Apocalypse, Mafia EP. You guys all know my opinion on this one... I love it !!! Best Death Metal band I've heard for a long time.
I don't want to make a huge post about... post-rock bands (oh lulz) since this is the Metal Hell, but I've discovered two bands, Gifts From Enola, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Mogwai. Great bands.
Some french depressive black metal from Québec now. The band Gris, with the album Il Était Une Forêt, delivers some of the most mind-blowing and heart-shattering depressive black metal I have ever heard. I once thought that Xasthur and Austere were the epitome of suicidal stuff, but these guys just bury them !!!
Taking suggestions from you guys, I've also started listenning to Gonin-Ish. I've only listenned to two tracks so far, will definitely give them a few more spings during the next few days.
Visiting the past, I've god my hands on some Ludwig Van Beethoven. I love classical music, but sadly I don't know enough of that genre... I will definitely start digging around for some more of this great music in the near future.
In The Rectory Of The Bizarre Reverend by Reverend Bizarre. I've only gave this album one spin so far. I like it so far. Talking about Doom Metal, I've got Watching From A Distance by Warning. Their music drags on a little too much on boring or repetitive parts and it's a little too whinny for me, but I guess it's still good Doom Metal. I like the first three tracks on the album.
Remember what I said about Sculptured? Yeah? They are great :)
Thorr's Hammer, a little band recommanded by Dalnaki. I think they were pretty good. Too bad it didn't last...
Last but not least... a soundtrack from a great French movie. It is called Amélie, and it's by the composer Yann Tiersen. A must for classical and folk-ish music fans. Here is a little link for you guys :) Comptine d'un autre été : L'après-midi
So em... yeah... Hope you enjoy that wall of text :O

Remember when I said you shouldn't post when you're high? Yeah, that picture says it all. :P
So I just got Terminal Function's Measuring the Abstract. It's pretty sweet. Kinda like older Dillinger Escape Plan, but more metal. Cool time signature switches a la Meshuggah, interesting vocals, definitely their own style.
If I were to classify them they would have to be math metal/tech death.

But if I didn't post when I'm high I'd only have about 1,000 posts :)
Fuck, I can't even get high right now because I don't have a lighter.
I don't know if you guys give a shit, but I found Black Sabbath "Past Lives" on vinyl in NYC today, and I can't wait to listen to it.
There weren't any other good metal bands on vinyl that I saw. Just old (glam metal old) Pantera.

I don't know why, but I can fucking picture you bent over and all contorted in the sun trying to light up with a magnifying glass.
Guys, I need some recommendations.
Good tech death (besides Origin, Obscura, Fleshgod, Gorod, Psycroptic, Deivos and Terminal Function)
Stuff similar to Mastodon's Remission and Leviathan. So I guess really good stoner metal?

We've already mentionned Blood Red Throne, I'm suprised you didn't check them out already. Also, Benighted.
Stoner? Electric Wizard, Bongzilla, Boris (more like Stoner Rock, but they are still amazing).
Well i recently saw Joe Satriani live, pretty good show. Basically a 2 hour long guitar solo but the man can shred.
Not much in metal news for me lately but Rotting Christ and Abigail Williams are coming in March, 18+ show but it isn't all that hard to get in.
Heres a band I found recently that i'm liking anyone who likes Slayer will almost definetly like these guys Alkoholizer

If only I had a magnifying glass, that actually works. I was doing it Christmas day, it's called "solar puffing" and it's the most natural way to smoke weed. It makes it taste better too, because there's no butane in the smoke.
But I don't even have a magnifying glass.

Jedi mind trick.
IN METAL NEWS TODAY
Chucked on Sleep - Dopesmoker when I woke up. Excellent shit.
I bloody love the song, I think Ghoul was a cocksmoker to chip it out.
Played Black Ops, zombie mode.
FUCKING HATE BEING KILLED BY ZOMBIES JUST TOUCHING YOU
Second Metal Monday 2011 post. Again, all comments are appreciated.

Past Lives isn't a live album I own. If there's a Black Sabbath live album I want it's Live Evil considering it's part of the Dio era and Dio sings Ozzy-era songs.
I have a Black Sabbath bootleg vinyl called "Bitch". My dad bought it in the good old days :)
It's when Ian Gillan from Deep Purple was singing for them too. Should be pretty rare.
I'm unwinding for the evening, in front of the first album purchase of 2011 that I have made - Motörhead's The Wörld is Yours.
Their format is unchanging and this sort of thing seems to work, kind of in the way that AC/DC does. Lemmy still screams well for a 65 year old and the band is still as strong as they were in 1980, with Ace of Spades.
