I think yours fits you.

So my girlfriend is visiting family for another two weeks. Kinda sucks. Sleeping next to the dog /= sleeping next to her. Although they both try to steal the bed and blankets the same way by kicking me in their sleep as hard as they can.

Of course, an iron gauntlet with jizz on it... fits me perfectly... Btw, we have the same level icon...

Yeah, but it fits you better.

I'd rather be level 39 right now. A bloody chainsaw covered in cum? If that doesn't fucking say Christmas I don't know what does.

Hey brothers!
I love you all.
I'm high as shit right now.
And us such, I'm going to write my post in beautiful Bill format.
I'm listening to the new Solefald right now.
It's fucking brilliant, I'd say this completely tops Agalloch's 'Marrow of Spirit'.
I'm enjoying it a lot more than said Agalloch album.
When you all get it (Which you must do if you're a fan) listen to the title track.
Has this riff played really softly, with female vocals.
Then they play the same riff and it's fucking unbelievable heavy.
Most beautiful contrast.
There's also two very twisted/funny songs on here, though the other tracks are more serious.
It reminds me of Neonism in ways, one of my favourites from them.
This album is a 10/10
I also just picked up some Fantomas albums.
I know some of their songs from an excellent live DVD I've only mentioned once here I think.
It's called the Melvins/Fantomas Big Band, Live in London (2005), or something similar.
Very awesome DVD that only cost me ten bucks.
Fantomas albums are insanely weird but awesome. I'm sure you guys know, but King Buzzo is their guitarist and he is very excellent here.
They have an album called Director's Cut and it's all adaptions of movie themes.
Very heavy and cool avant-garde stuff.
I recommend these albums to you, Metal Hell.
I love the Hell with all my heart and I'd like to thank you all for this year of metal news,
recommendations, funny stories, funny arguments, funny fails and the best metal in the world blasting in our ears. Thank you all so much, because I enjoy every day of it.
Looking forward to another year with you bastards,
Ponos

P.S. Ghoul, come back and post about your favourite albums and tell noobs to GTFO with pictures of Kind Diamond. Thanks.

Stay Heavy
Peace

It's the best way to make Christmas metal. A little hat makes the icon cute unlike level 56.

That was probably the best post in the Metal Hell this year and that line alone is the icing on the cake. If Ghoul ever returned, I'd happily step down from Horseman status for him assuming he can stay active long enough.

Unarmed is considered by most to be their best album.
I call bullshit, even if it's sarcasm. This album must be avoided like the plague.

Yeah, it was sarcasm! I hated Unarmed. I think I remember talking to you about how bad it was when it came out, actually.

Except for The Keeper's Trilogy which is alright.

This is true.

Speaking of Helloween, does anyone else think that Andi Deris is a terrible singer?

I stole Sirtom's banner seeing he won't be here for along time and I needed a new banner due to my change.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm referring to modern Disney garbage and not the classics.

No. He was not active enough. Last time he said he would be active, he didn't post for a month. It's not that we hate him, but we needed active Horsemen. So now we have 4.

Yup, like making sequels to movies like Cinderella... Aladin... Bambi... The Little Mermaid... What fucking bullshit.

Btw, I say Bambi is the most Metal movie by Disney. So gloomy, joyfull and sad at the same time... I love it.

Thats not modern Disney. Thats just bad slightly old Disney. Modern Disney is your High School Musical, Hannah Montana stuff. The none animated stuff really.

I've always found it metal how most old disney movies started with a neglectful/ abusive father and a dead mother.

So the word Modern refers to which period of time?... Cause Cinderella 3 was released in 2007... if that isn't modern shit, then tell me what it is...

I don't know. But the non-animated stuff is what Bahamut and I mean by modern Disney. If its animation then its still classic Disney territory regardless of the year.

GET THE EP! It is awesome. Not quite as good as Oracles, mostly because it is so much shorter, but Abyssal is probably Fleshgod's best track, IMO. EP of the year? Probably.

Out of curiosity, what do you guys think of Gojira? I really like them, but apparently a large chunk of the metal friends I know hate them. Any reason why?

I heard a couple of their songs not too long ago

I don't remember it really striking out at me but it was still pretty interesting

I like them myself, don't see any reason why they would hate them. Unless they hate whales.

Mogwai
Godspeed You! Black Emperor

Excellent choices. What other post-rock do you listen to, or are you already into post-rock?
On the subject of post-rock, I love post-rock influenced metal and post-metal. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Baroness, and I hear a lot of post-rock influence in their music, especially in the guitar work. I dunno, maybe I'm just making that up in my head.
