On the subject of live shows, I suppose I'm seeing a fair amount since I haven't been to so many. Maybe after a while I can easily miss out on shows for bands I've seen live a few times but right now, I'm wanting to see all my favourite bands live.

Scar Symmetry is no more. They are not whole anymore, not since Alvestam left the band. They may be quite boring now, but Symmetric In Design and Pitch Black Progress were awesome albums. Their first two were good, then it became kind of redundant, and then Alvestam left...

I enjoy Immortal a lot, so check them out. Also, DragonLord, who was formed by Testament's guitarist, is pretty good and Enslaved is awesome. Bathory, of course, you need the classics, and you will probably like Akercocke if you like Behemoth and Belphegor. and 1349 are pretty good. And Sigh. They completely kick ass. Probably my favorite black metal band. I am fairly new to black metal, but I do enjoy these guys.
