If so, is it any good?
According to almost everyone who i've talked to about it "Their best album yet"

That's legit the reaction i've gotten from everyone, so i'm assuming it's pretty damn good.

I now have it, it's pretty damn awesome but IDK if it's their "Best" but certainly an improvement. The prog elements are more subtle now tho.

Really now? I thought Horrorscope and The Years of Decay were more recognisable albums. If Feel the Fire and Taking Over are said to be very good, then I've got a few more of their albums to get. Hopefully they're better than Horrorscope and The Years of Decay. There's a few tracks in those albums that I can't settle down to.

Dudes. So, I was reading the Terrorizer weekly update email, and there's a new person doing a Band of the Week thing. Not only are they in a sick band, but they're also a girl. And their first botw is a thrash outfit called Vortex. They're old-school thrash, really good, and their average age is like 16. I was pretty stupified. Check them out.

Their fucking drummer is fucking 13.

Preview of 7 Sinners.

I don't really like the sound of it. It's too serious.

The age sounds like Death Angel when they first started. Their drummer was 13 too. Now they're like 30, but still have released a couple kickass albums. Speaking of that, has anyone heard the new Death Angel album, how is it?

From the sounds of it so far, it's nothing amazing but it's Helloween and I wish to hear the album regardless. I'm sure it'll be better than Angra's new album which besides Arising Thunder was boring as hell.

So I don't know what I was thinking a few days ago, but I actually thought Kronos was good.

However, I did find an awesome album by Ebony Tears called Tortura Insomniae. It's awesome melodic death metal/ symphonic whatever. I thought the vocals were a little black metal-ly though. Still a great album.

Still looking on that list.

Yeah, but it's a dead band as they were disbanded a long time ago. I checked out Kronos - amazing band. Which album do you recommend?

Never heard of them, so I can't comment. But that album artwork is killer.

If you like black metal that is interesting and not boring, you may like them.

I got myself Motörhead's 1916 and March ör Die for £12 together. I thought that was a good deal and considering some of you have praised 1916, I have high expectations for this album. That's 2 out of 7 Motörhead albums down. The other five I'm hoping to get before I see them in November are Iron Fist, Another Perfect Day, Orgasmatron, Rock 'n' Roll and Kiss of Death.

It's not him.

No, I'm not this "Ghoul" person. Oh, and I don't listen to nu-metal (disturbed, slipknot). So, I don't know where you got that idea from.

Not really my style, but shit that's some good folk metal. Purty original and stuff.
So I've been listening to a lot of Benighted lately, they're so sick it hurts. My favorite song is probably Slut, off Icon. The pseudo-breakdown defies the laws of tradition.

I'm just curious, but of the Teutonic Thrash Trio (Destruction, Kreator, and Sodom), which band is your favorite? Mine is probably Kreator. I want your guys' opinions because I'm having a poll of sorts between my metal-loving friends of which of the 3 are the most liked.

I actually haven't bought many albums from the three of them. The most is Destruction with four albums (two of them are EPs packaged with the first two albums). I'd have to say Kreator since I really enjoy Pleasure to Kill and parts of Extreme Aggression.

Kreator, but mainly because I own more of their albums.

I own Hordes Of Chaos, Enemy Of God, Outcast and kreator's first five albums. (Eight total)
I own the first four destruction albums and D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N. (so five total)
I own Agent Orange and M-16 (so two sodom albums total)

In fact, recommend me some more sodom albums. :P
