true they are talented I prefer screaming just because I find it more enjoyable than different metal

If that's the case, I better swipe a copy sooner than later. I have enough troubles getting some albums on CD. Surely they'll print more copies of this album soon, unless it becomes like the later Black Sabbath albums were they became so hard to get. I'm just glad there are bands out there that'll keep all their albums in print, even their weakest effort since they know the fans will want them. Virtual XI may be Maiden's weakest album but they know new fans will be after the album regardless of quality.

The Absence's new album is up for streaming if anyone loves amazing MDM.

And I gotta say it's devastatingly awesome.

I recently bought Satyricon's album The Shadowthrone. I know Satyricon since a couple of years, but I never had the chance to listen to that album, and it's really fucking amazing! I'm already practicing a cover of King of the Shadowthrone, hope my guitarist will learn it tooo

I think they just want to sound heavy, brutal and good for mosh without really caring about making complex music...

Is that an actual band? And an actual song by them?

If so, I think I've just discovered the epitome of pretentiousness.

In other news, after listening to Death's Symbolic, I've come to the conclusion that 1,000 Eyes is the greatest song ever written.

Why are you more concerned about their pretentiousness than their music?

Bands with really pretentious names are usually compensating for musical ability.

I gave them a listen, and it's pretty standard Melodeath. Good, but nothing spectacular.

So... A couple bands I just ran across: Deathchain (?) and Tukkanuotta.
They both appear pretty dopeskee.

But Deathchain stops being as sick after "Deathrash Assault." Oh well.

My favourite song from Death's Symbolic is the title track. Why? Because of that badass riff. I'm sure it's in my top 20 favourite riffs. The rest of the album is still awesome, though.

I won't be going to that show but with the work permitting me to take a few days off to attend my concerts, I'm definitely going to Heidenfest and Blind Guardian next week and I can't wait any longer for them.

Same. I love that album but that song is my favorite. When it goes into double-time I ejaculate.
