In my opinion, it's their best album.
Personally, I think Dawn of Victory is their best album and it's hard to top that. The lack of ballads made it feel stronger and kept up the pace.
I dunno. While I liked Dawn of Victory, Holy Thunderforce especially, I thought that the melodies in places were a little off, like they could have been better if they'd changed a note here or there. It's really nitpicky to complain about such a great album, but I don't see any of that on Frozen Tears of Angels. Still, I can see why people would prefer Dawn of Victory.
The only complaint I can make for that album is that little girl going "La la la la laaaa" at the start of Trolls in the Dark. I mean, what's the point of that?
It gives it a more fantasy story feel to it, I guess. Which isn't really necessary considering it's a fantasy story in music form anyway.
None of the pretentious, folksy garbage like on Triumph or Agony, and none of the boring filler like on their earlier albums.
I actually like Triumph or Agony. It may have been less metal but it was still enjoyable nonetheless.
True. I think that some of the not so heavy tracks sort of blend together. They're not really memorable. Except Silent Dream, which I weirdly think of as being both a filler track and completely fucking awesome.
As for the boring fillers, I can relate that to Symphony of Enchanted Lands. I know this is the album with Emerald Sword but after Eternal Glory, I feel the album loses itself.
I can't really comment on that, as I've never listened to any songs from it apart from Emerald Sword.

I bet it's because you're Canadian.
Also, I think the new Horseman should be Duff, on account of his experience in arguing with teenagers and all-around cuddliness.
