Yes, very much :)
Also, I still don't see why we don't let Nev be the next Horseman. As far as I'm concerned... I think that everybody gets along with him pretty well. Nobody hates him and he has diversified tastes in metal. I think Nev should be the new Horseman... it's obvious that Ghoul is never going to be an active member again...

I second this nomination for Nev as a Horseman.

You sure about that?
Valley Of The Damned by DragonForce
Nev is one of the two great potentials to be a horseman so my votes goes to him as well.
Assuming we actually get this voting done this time.
Yes, if we are, I vote Bahamut. I reckon the three of us are all equally good for it, but like we need a Brit on the team :P.
Mourning Beloveth's Dust is the best death/doom album I've ever heard. Check it out. And if this voting stuff is to be taken seriously I vote Nev.
?

equally good...
What does that mean exactly?
It's not like we really need any horseman or whatever. Only requirements to do the job is to know a lot of metal... so not only Bahamut, you and Denta, but Ponos and I would also fit just right.
So we should know exactly what we want from the guy who's going to be the next horseman. Cause if we only go for the knowledge of metal, than anyway of the regulars could do the job.
Agalloch - ...and the Great Cold Death of the Earth
Well if the voting is happening I vote Nev :P
Sylosis - Slowly Consumed

Well, I don't recall AllMightyBruce being a fan of Megadeth but close enough. Same goes for Slough Feg who only mothballs doesn't like from all of us. Not that I have anything against them two for not being interested in those bands.

I think you've won this by a longshot.
So much for my 1000 years of darkness as horsemen. :p I did think we should have vice presidents when a horsemen is absent for a good 3 months. Id like to see ranks in this club If I could be a general that be awsome I look at myself as a leader in some cases. Im always leading people when I play paintball or airsoft.
Hail Hell Commander Goatchrist.
I don't know how many of you are into Agent Steel but the original vocalist John Cyriis has returned to the band! I tried listening to the albums with the other singer but he wasn't as good as Cyriis but now that he's back, I'm looking forward to their new album more than ever.
First Dave Ellefson returns to Megadeth, then John Cyriis returns to Agent Steel. What next?

Johan Johansson returns to Cryonic Temple?
I don't care much for them anymore. I still love Blood, Guts & Glory and In Thy Power. They're everything Power Metal should be: silly and catchy, yet energetic and technical. But then Johan left, and they went all "TOTALLEH SERIUZ BIZNUZZ" and became just another generic Metal band with no uniqueness or entertaining qualities whatsoever.
/rant that came out of nowhere.
Johan Johansson is the best name ever, by the way.
Also, what the fuck? Rhapsody's new album came out and nobody's mentioned it yet.

Shit, I was meant to comment on this sooner. It's a very good album and definitely beats the last two works from them. Reign of Terror and On the Way to Ainor are the highlights.

In Metal Archives they're Metal now, and what the fuck is Mallcore?

I think it means that people only listen to them to be 'cool', and they're badass and hardcore because a certain band is 'brutal' or whatever.
Or generic maybe.
I really like DevilDriver, but I actually appreciate the music, I don't listen to them because I think they're heavy as shit, they're obviously not.
I totally know what I'm talking about

Just gave it a listen.
In my opinion, it's their best album. None of the pretentious, folksy garbage like on Triumph or Agony, and none of the boring filler like on their earlier albums.
I don't care who the next horseman is as long as they do their job and I can bend them to my will. I.E., the next horseman will automatically incur the nickname of Millhouse. So I say it, so it shall be done. Don't get it twisted. >=(

Personally, I think Dawn of Victory is their best album and it's hard to top that. The lack of ballads made it feel stronger and kept up the pace. The only complaint I can make for that album is that little girl going "La la la la laaaa" at the start of Trolls in the Dark. I mean, what's the point of that? Still, The Frozen Tears of Angels is high up, possibly on par with Power of the Dragonflame.

I actually like Triumph or Agony. It may have been less metal but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. As for the boring fillers, I can relate that to Symphony of Enchanted Lands. I know this is the album with Emerald Sword but after Eternal Glory, I feel the album loses itself. Some songs could have been good such as The Dark Towers of Abyss but they're poorly structured IMO.
Ok.
So why don't we officially make Nev the new horseman?

Another good call.
Whoever mentioned High on Fire was bob on too really. I think I'm the only person who doesn't care for them.
Wintersun too everyone seems to bum..... urrgh.
Not that I have anything against them two for not being interested in those bands.
I do :P.

Cause we're all fucking wretches. Unless you're planning on a coup we're all nobodies with no authority.

I don't really mind...
The 4 horsemen are so freakin inactive it makes me sad...
Vote for me and everyone getts free cookies (and 1000 years of darkness under the banner of smeagol.) Im serious I think I can do the job of horsemen I've always wanted some kind of job with power thats why im going to school to be a conservation officer A.K.A DNR.

Out of all of the big four, I like them the best.

It also applies to nu-metal, too, like Disturbed and Slipknot. Basically it's any "heavy" music that people listen to to be hardcooaaaar. It's not really as applicable as it once was, now, because everyone (in my experience) has dropped Disturbed and Slipknot and Korn in favor of shitty deathcore bands like Bring me the Horizon and The Devil Wears Prada and A Day to Remember if they want to feel hardcore.
