I'm happy, I managed to mosh in my living room to Pantera last night, and it was cool...
Nah, haven't heard of Nebelhexe, but it sounds german (Nebel means fog in german, I think, but I'm not sure) at any rate, I have no idea.
HO HO HOPE you become a Newgrounds Supporter this year!

X_Imperium_X, Nebelhexe means "Fogwitch" in German.

Ah damn, sorry for the last post, I fucked up.
So what is it then? Haven't heard it, but everything else I heard by them sucked the big one.
I need to submit 16 more bands to the archives to get the 100 BAND MARK. YAYZOR! Then it's all uphill from there. My ultimate goal is 1,000 bands submitted.

Cool. If it helps you reach your goal, Mnemic and Raunchy could use a their own pages on teh archives. :)

The most mainstream "modern" music (i.e. ones that are still making music) that I'll listen to is Mayhem or Nargaroth, so Chimaira isn't my cup of tea anyway.
And, I got Nargaroth's Geliebte Des Regens. It's awesome. I still want to get Herbstleyd.
I see I wasn't too far off about Nebelhexe. Sadly, I learned all my german from Rammstein...Meh, gotta start somewhere.
Anyway, I know I asked before and It kinda got ignored, but has anyone heard of Rhama (or Rama) Sutra. My girlfriend claims they are a metal band, but I can't find anything on them at all. I don't know...

Both of the bands I posted are very good Industrial Metal.
While the archives identifies Meshuggah as "Technical post-thrash", so... no, Mnemic are not like Meshuggah.

Those two bands were already rejected many times. If I were to try to add them, I'd get banned for sure.

Yeh they said they dont accept -core bands anymore. And dillinger escape plan (according to AMG) is a hardcore band. So yeh...they r weird but they rock! And devildriver are sorta numetal arent they? They dont accept numetal either.
mmm anyways i bought "I, Monarch" by Hate Eternal. Way better than i thought it would be, its fucking awesome!!
I, Monarch rules!
Did you see them when they were doing an international tour for the release of I, Monarch?
I did. It was brilliant. I stood in front of Erik Rutan for 90 minutes. No one was stealing my spot. The afterparty was awesome too! Derek Roddy is very humble.
Can't wait for Nile in November either :D
I got the Live Discharge DVD by Destruction today, it's FUCKING AWESOME! almost 3 hours of live shows, an almost hour long interview about Destruction's history and many bonuses. Good value.

Wouldn't Children of Bodom be more modern than them? You <3 COB

Ya, but I don't like their 2 latest CD's. I like their first three, but that's it.

Indeed. Hatecrew Deathroll wasn't too bad, but their first three CDs were by far superior. I haven't heard Are You Dead Yet? yet, but it isn't getting too much praise.

That's still not very kvlt :P
Guys, download "Soul Collector" from Destruction's homepage. It's a new song by them, it rules.

What I meant by that is that the most mainstream people whom I'm still buying new CD's from are Mayhem and Nargaroth.

Geez...Can't say the same about myself. I also wish more local music was hard. All the bands that are around me are some pussy emo shit. Boring.
GChrist-I'll certainly check out the song, I need more music

None of those bands are local. They are all scandinavian, I think. (I'm from El Sobrante, CA, US.)

Mayhem and Nargaroth you mean?
Mayhem's definitely scandinavian (Norway), but Nargaroth's from Germany (don't know if that counts as Scandinavia though =P)

Ya, forgot about them. Sorry, Kanwulf. All of them are from Scandinavia except Nargaroth. :)
I wasn't trying to imply the bands were local, I kinda figured they weren't (lol).
I just wish my local bands were good. That's all, lol

Lollers. My birthday was today, and my sis got me a couple Nargaroth CD's (Herbstleyd and Amarok) and other than that I didn't get much. Oh well, I didn't expect to.
But I did get some photographic chemicals, so I can now develop prints in my own house.

Looks like you haven't gotten that blow-up goat I sent you yet. It's a shame, since you seemed very excited to get it.
Happy Birthday, Ghoul :)
I command you all to check out the new Destruction video "The Alliance of Hellhoundz" on their website. It's nice.

Meh, I prefer Metal Archives.
