I believe you need at least 5 more bands (if Motley Crue, and Alice Cooper are considered metal here) and then you can wait for a horseman to accept you.

Stoner metal's fuckin awesome dude. Don't believe the hype, ignore Baroness for now, they're not that good. Stick with the trinity of Sleep, Wizard and HoF to begin with.

...And I just realized that Baroness aren't technically a stoner band, but whatever. Sludge, doom and stoner just kind of fall into one big genre as far as I'm concerned.

Out of curiosity, are you a fan of this band or are you more aware of the song due to Metallica covering it?

The guys gave me the list of songs that they have worked on and I've gone from receiving the list on Monday night to looking through the songs themselves and getting some practice done. I think that I'm due for my tryout on Thursday the 21st of January, so fingers crossed.

Anyone else want to cast their opinions on the setlist?
