In other news, a poor old cancer has been diagnosed with a bad case of the Dios. Unfortunately, Dios is a;ways fatal, particullarly to wandering dragons. Known symptoms: Rainbows in the Dark, chronic paranoia of strangers, and a wish to be a dreamer.

That was probably in bad taste, but someone will lol. Hopefully. Yeah, Dio will fuck that cancer up.

Beat me to it. He's gonna slay the cancer dragon, i mean, it IS Dio we're talking about.

Also, if any one of you (specifically whoever it was that was all 'lol that killswitch guy has cancer' ) makes any cancer joke whatsoever, I'll personally decapitate you and rip your balls off. Twice.

Also holy crap Bill posted for the first time in forever, I'm hanging for another stoned rambling and story about Lemmy.

Which makes me think, we keep the already existing members in, and the new requirement for joining is you have to have had a smoke with Lemmy, or something equivalent in terms of awesome.

Dio - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, if he dies then silence will rein out into the world of good music.

Tool - Even though they aren't metal officially, I like to think of them as such because they influenced most prog metal bands today, sadly I don't own any of there albums(just heard a few of there songs) What albums should I get off the bat?

MissingJack - Welcome to the club! Just curious, when you saw the Metalcopypse tour(I was going to go to the one in Boston but I didn't feel like paying 40 bucks for a Tuesday night show) did the audience in general like High On Fire or was it just a few people like you? Cause i'd hate it if people didn't like em.

Riverside - YOU ALL NEED TO LISTEN TO THESE GUYS, seriously everyone in this club who likes either A.) Progressive Metal, B.) Ambiance or C.) Music that induces Revelation needs to buy all four of there studio albums.

Like, there first two albums and there 4th album are entirely comprised of nothing but win(There 3rd album is good, but has some filler tracks that sadly bring down the quality)

Riverside - The Same River

Aenima, then get Undertow, then Lateralus or however you spell that, and I havn't really given 10,000 Days a good listen yet. Opiate is cool.

I think Tool are a great great greatly amazing awesome band.

Alot of people liked them it was the band after Coverage that people didn't like and if u start off with a tool album go with either Aenima or Laterouls those are the most epic out of the 4 albums

So I got a speical treat today the hunter across the street was cleaning a deer with his freinds and they were going to throw the head away. Being the avid skull collector I am they gave me this fresh bloody deer head in a nice paper bag. it was already dark and raining. It was so metal!!!! I had blood all over my hands as I walked through the dark woods. I never felt so vile and disgusting as I did.

I put the head in a bucket and hung it in a tree.

Such a Grim treat!

When I saw Rotting Christ, Mantic Ritual and Epicurean on a Thursday night in january there was also a HUMONGOUS snow storm that started two hours before the doors opened, and was still raging on even after the show had ended.

The only people that went to the show was myself, one girl and seven other guys: That makes nine people.

It was like we had our own private show: Rotting played for 90 minutes, Mantic for 45 and Epicurean for 45 as well.

After Rotting Christ had finished playing the storm was still raging on and they didn't want to send us out into the storm until it was over and so the nine of, all the members of all three bands and two of the security guards who were metal heads all sat around in a circle drinking till about 3 AM.

Do I win?

Unless you were part of that circle until 3am, you don't win.

I made eye contact with Dave Mustaine, Phil Demmel, and on a slightly gay note, i almost shook hands with Matt Heafy. Oh, and i used to be friends with the drummer from Switchblade, and got myself on his local radio show once.

That's as metal as it gets for me, so far.

So I do win.

Also, on a MUCH gayer note:

I just found an official music video taking place at the palladium in worcester Mass(The venue I almost always go to concerts at)

Pretty horrible band, pretty douchebaggery audience, but whatever - now you guys have an idea of the venue I always go to concerts at.

That's right - No barrier, very little security being bitches and all ages. SUCK IT.

Hex Omega
April Ethereal
Ghost of Perdition
Face of Melinda
Something from Still Life, forgot the name (remembered cos Mike mentioned it was from that album)
Deliverance
The Lotus Eater

Just remembered they played something from Blackwater Park too, I think might have been Bleak.

Also maybe Reverie/Harlequin Forest.

Can't even really guess for the 3rd song.
I actually didn't count how many songs they played though :p

And I hung out with Alestorm's Chris and Gaz (singer and bassist or guitarist) a few nights at Bloodstock. Not that, thats any more respectable than Dragonforks.

I'd suggest Lateralus and 10,000 Days to start with, both have a different sound and are equally awesome.

Schism from Lateralus is my favourite fucking song, ever, of any band. I'm not entirely sure why I love it so much, but I do.
