I swear today is friday the 13th ! I was at Speedway with my dad we were getting lunch. I got some hotdogs I went to get some cheese for mine there was a guy there I thought he was done putting stuff on his food. So I proceeded to put cheese on mine he then begins to glare at me Then all of the sudden WAAM!!! He slams his hotdog in the trash can and screams at me "ARE YOU SATISFIED YET?!!! He thens begins to yell at me for 20 seconds (my dad was there when this happen) then he leaves to go to the desk screaming FUCKING KID!!!!
Seriously what the fuck crawled up his ass?! I wanted to ask him that but I knew he would hit me if I did. The dude looked like a fucking mentally ill drunk. Dad said he's one of those hot headed assholes your going to meet in the world. Then I broke the lawn mower.

My girlfriend was concerned about that as well. She said the way she got past it was to always work in a permanent medium. I don't know if that'd work for you but it could be worth a try. And I'm no artist so I don't have the slightest clue what that means. I'm guessing pen and ink or sclupting or things along those lines. Since if you fuck up you have to work through it and adjust accordingly I suppose.

Since this group is on a black metal trend, I feel the need to say this. I FIND BLACK METAL VOCALS ANNOYING! I don't know why, it just gets on my nerves and I can't stand it. I literally cannot listen to a black metal song with vocals for more than a minute, maybe two, even if it sounds pretty awesome. Is is just something in my body, or are the vocals an acquired taste type thing?

Well, vocals in black metal vary. There are different styles. I don't know what you've been listening to, but yeah, I think all harsh vocals are an acquired taste, whether in death metal or black metal or whatever.

So I'm pretty excited to hear Altar of Plagues - White Tomb. Not heard a bad thing about it yet.

So yeah, last night I went to Obituary, it was 20 bucks and doors opened at 7.

Warbringer played from 7:30 - 8:00 (30 mins)
The Berserker played from 8:10 - 8:45 (35 mins)
Krisiun played from 8:55 - 9:30 (35 mins)
Goatwhore played from 9:40 - 10:20 (40 mins)
Obituary played from 10:30 - 12:30 (120 mins)

The Berserker utterly blew, except there bassists - he was pretty sweet.

But yeah, after Warbringer and Krisiun exhausted me(Fuck Berserker, they didn't exhaust me at all) I was dead for all of Goatwhore.

Then during Obituary's first song I got water dumped on me from the merch stand(The Merch stand is up the stairs and on a small balcony above the crowd and part of the stage) and for whatever reason, having water poured all over my head from above re-energized me!

I went from being in front of the stage with no one in front of me(No barrier) to, during obituary, where ever the crowd pushed me and I rocked out where ever.

Towards the end of Obituary I was in the moshpit and I could pushed into the crowd of people outside the pit, they grabbed me and picked me up and began crowd surfing me haha and it was fuun!

Then at the end of the show a small group of us fans whom all knew each other via concerts we've all gone to in the past went to Denny's(Opened 24 hours a day, for whatever reason) with all the members of Warbringer and Krisiun as well as the singer of Obituary.

So basically we all gorged and dominated the Denny's until about 2 or so in the morning before heading back to the palladium(where all our vehicles were parked, we walked to the Denny's) and took a bunch of awesome pictures, all of which with me in them!

In my opinion, from best to worst:
Obituary
Krisiun
Warbringer
Goatwhore (Or maybe it was just because I was too exhausted to appreciate them?)
The Berserker (The only band I thought that sucked, except for there bassist)

Anyway, here's a pic taken at about 3 AM - i'm in this picture, i'm the one with black sweatshirt on my knee to the right of the guy in the bottom left corner with the cigarette, I look brutal. :D

What's cooler than Japanese metal with raging keyboards and random jazz and piano improvisions and sections? Nothing, dude. Everything in the album is perfect. It's daring, it's adventurous, and it tries new things, but it's still brutal and it stays in the black metal genre.

Also, porcupine Tree, King's X and The Masochist Divine on sunday was fucking epic.

Tickets were 45 bucks, but it was worth it.
