Viking was a disappointing game.

And I've never been into RTS games. I used to play a bit of Diablo, Warcraft, Baldur's Gate, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Blood and Magic on an old friend's computer when I was a kid. I hardly ever got anything done in any of those games.

I always thought Death and Slayer complimented Gears 1 & 2 perfectly.

The ones you mentioned are great and there are quite a few other great ones that came out in the nineties and early 00's. I'm not sure if you're looking for recommendations or anything so I'll spare you the ridiculous list of recommendations but movies and computer games used to make up majority of the time I spent with my dad.
