We don't consider you an outsider or someone edgy. You're an accepted member of the family. Act like one, man.

It's usually about his music, or to remind users about the "rules".

Dimension Zero is a Melodic Death Metal band. Though their songs are a little short, there's a lot of energy in their stuff and it's quite agressive.
Forefather is a Black Metal band, or as they call themselves Anglo-Saxon Metal. It's a very nice band, and everyone who's interrested in Black Metal or Pagan should really take a closer look at this.
and Gontina Kry is a Black Metal band, but I don't know much about them... gotta check some more of their stuff in the next days.

Seriously, what Manowar album should I get, only have Kings of Metal.
Sign of the Hammer, Hail to England, Warriors of the World, and Gods of War.
And Kansas doesn't belong on that list. Kansas are fucking awesome.

I'll admit, I sometimes use MA to find out which albums I should get, but usually when I'm getting into a new artist and have no clue which album to get first. The other times, I have other sites in mind.

Ghoul's listened to more Manowar than I have, but I recommend getting Battle Hymns.

I have Kings of Metal. I'm asking which to get next :P.

You can't top Kings of Metal, but I recommend Warriors of the World.

I don't mean to offend anyone but aren't these guys the most Cheesy metal band to ever exist?
I must admit that they are quite funny, somewhat like Finntroll. But I think that Finntroll are not trying to be serious at least...
Manowar? really?
it's ok if you want a good laugh...
but their lyrics are so...
''They wanna keep us down
But they can't last
When we get up we're gonna kick your ass
Gonna keep on burnin'
We always will
Other bands play Manowar kill
Other bands play Manowar kill''
and the way they act and try to look
everything about them is cheesy... so tell me what so special about them.
How are they better than any other Heavy or Power Metal band ?
At 3/26/09 01:30 PM, HeavenDuff wrote: everything about them is cheesy... so tell me what so special about them.
Their influence and the way they act, they fucking believe in True Metal. If they play festivals they want control over whos on the bill.

Cause they did a lot of it first. Manowar had 4 albums out before Helloween released their debut.
so uhh yeah, buttsex. 0_o Im gonna post a pic of my recent creation.

No, you haven't delved deeply enough into the world of metal to find the cheesiest.
I'd say either all video game metal bands or Ecstasy Penis(The Weird Al of metal) are the cheesiest.

But they know they're cheesey and they strive for it.
Manowar are serious.

Video Game metal like powerglove and Dragonforce = Yes, totally. If they are being serious they must be 12.
Ecstasy Penis = Being cheesy isn't there main goal, they just like to show respect to all the most famous and/or best metal bands(All genres) by parodying a song or two by them.
Manowar are serious.
That looks so funny for some reason.
One of the members of Manowar actually stated a few months back that all downloading of music is destroying the music industry and that any manowar fan who downloads there music instead of buying an album and/or seeing them live is committing blasphemy and should eat shit and die.
After reading that online one thing popped into my mind to tell all power metal fans, 'remember kids download as much MANOWAR as you can!"

I'm actually not looking for cheesy bands...

The name of the band should have kept you away from it... or maybe you are just attracted to that kind of thing...
video game metal bands ??? really ???
