agreed...from what I have heard in DSBM (believe it or not it teaches you some things) is that not everyone is normal...not everyone is happy, and sometimes people make idle threats, but if he would have acted upon it then he is indeed in need of help. You should learn to accept him for who he is...maybe he was going to shoot up the school because you (or another of his friends) were not giveing him adequite attention. I dont know because I wasnt there, but as far as I know, you shouldnt hate him because he made an idle threat, alongside owning a weapon.

You're right, in that it doesn't excuse them. Still, there are people who get bullied as a kid/teen and may not fully get over it, when they're older. I'm an example. I had to bring up my childhood bullying to my school counselor last year, and how I was still kinda pissed off over it. I mean I've mostly gotten over it, at 21, but it's still there in the back of my head. The bullying wasn't super serious, as in I didn't get hazed in front of many others, but still, it's not fun... at all. Plus, I did fight back, at times. The point is people shouldn't be bullies, especially to others who don't know to fight back. I'd rather not fight back over this, because violence begets violence, and I'm a pacifist.

We have a society that is based upon ethical and moral laws and not just instinct. We have a much greater understanding of suffering and we have conscious thought resulting in emotional sadness from such deaths.
