So I ask this: Is it worth getting that compilation box set or am I better off getting the albums separately?
Personally I'd get the albums seperately so I had the proper CDs/artwork/booklets etc.
I asked someone else for his opinion on the box set and he said I'd be better off getting them separately. Since no-one has suggested me to get the box set instead, I'll be getting those albums separately.

I was in HMV today and stumbled across an Opeth compilation album called "The Candlelight Years", which consisted of their first three albums. This was good for me since I've yet to get their first three albums, but I decided to leave it be for the time being since I was after other stuff today.
I've seen it too, it looked pretty cool, and I was bummed out because I already bought Orchid online.
Although this doesn't apply to Opeth here, I really hate it when bands do that when I just bought one of their albums they were about to re-release. It happened to Blind Guardian when I just bought all their studio albums and then they planned to remaster all their albums up to Nightfall. Oh well, at least I got the Helloween re-releases at the right time.
