Good to hear I'm not the only one who gets those weird moments. Still, I feel like hitting my head repeatedly after taking 2 years to realise the awesomeness of And Then There Was Silence.

I can't say anything about Heaven and Hell since I've yet to get it, but the first six albums are definitely worth checking out. However, if you want to get one or two albums for the time being, then Paranoid and self-titled would be the best to start off with.
Listening to Manowar - Thor (The Powerhead)
Metal Archives is quite elitist yes, I spend half an hour on my review and it gets refused due to lack of expansion on my ideas.

What was your review for?
Post it here perhaps?
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

It was for the demo I just bought, but no, I don't have it saved - although I did write it in word before hand.

You must have done something wrong, I've never had a review rejected and quite honestly I think the ones I've written are shit. I'm constantly changing them.

Well if we look at a band such as Waking the Cadavar, it seems fitting does it not? WTC is horrendous trash that is based on the same breakdowns, squeals, and the WIDDLY WIDDLY parts that makes every tech-deathcore band unbearable. Not one of their albums has over a 25% mark on MA. I think it's pretty fitting, even though it is trendy to hate on them.
Here I am, bored with everything.

Yeah, and it's pretty entertaining to read through some of the more well worded negative reviews.
Also, did anyone else notice that Zakk Wylde is a fucking giant?

you can't hate a song just cause it's popular...
First band practice in a month. Got another song finished (minus vocals, which should be added next week). Its sounding very good, the breakdown especially :).
Sorry in advance for the shitty quality, but...
I have to run right now, so I'll add more later.

What can I say, Guitar hero.

And the fact it was their biggest single.
I was well aware of that song before Gaytar Hero.
Every rock-formated station I know of has a fucking quota on that particular Sabbath tune. It's really insane, considering even Iron Man isn't as overplayed.
Here I am, bored with everything.
Whats that place in Norway with the three giant swords called? I ask because I want to get Married there.

The only stations I listen to are the classic rock ones, and they're mostly good, but sometimes the rotation sucks and overhyped songs get played in an endless cycle.
Also, I've seen that place with the swords, it kicks ass! So metal.

Yes, i can. Sometimes a song gets played so much that it gets annoying, and you don´t want to hear that song anymore.
I origiinally heard the song on the Sega game Rock & roll racing.

Dude, Isn't that what metal is all about?

Yeah, I've had a review objected before on MA. It's not pleasant to spend a few hours on a review only to find out they reject it in the end, but eh, I think I'm better at reviewing video games than reviewing albums.

If you hear a song a lot more than necessary, it's no surprise why people get sick of overplayed tracks. Fortunately, most of the music I hear besides my own are my dad's and a few minutes of the radio here and there.
master of reality is my personal choice for best sabbath album. s/t, volume 4 and paranoid are great too but i just find master more cohesive. its got this powerful melancholy vibe to it and cool folky influences throughout that really make it stick out for me. the others might have more recognisable classic songs but theyve also got more filler in my opinion.
RZZZZZZ
Got:
Manowar - Kings of Metal
Portal - Seepia
The latter is very good Experimental Black/Death :).

Never heard of the band nor the album, but since they're black/death metal as you said, then I'll have to check them out. Their Portal album cover looks somewhat interesting nontheless.
Oh, and thanks for those who have recommended me some kickass bands. I got into some of them and love their stuff.

I just thought that it was pretty obvious that members of the Metal Hell we're not big radio music fans, or at least, they are not listenning to radio to find metal music.
Another obvious fact is that everything that is played on the radio is overplayed, at least for pop music stations. But even if you got for Instrumental or Metal and Rock stations, most of the time the only music they play are the most popular metal and rock bands.
But I live near Montreal, maybe you guys have some "underground metal" music stations or stuff like that where you live, but that's not the case for me, so I just avoid listenning to the radio.
And another reason why I hate radio stations... is because they always cut off the outro of the song or the last few seconds of it, or even the intro.
IMO, a track is a complete piece of art in itself. They shouldn't cut off parts of the songs.

The production is nasty, though its intentional for an artistic effect apparently. But there is some serious Tech Death stuff going on if you tune your ears to the cacophony.
But its certainly an interesting listen if you can get beyond that.

I don't like the radio because I don't like what I listen to being under the control of someone other than myself.
