I like to blast mine on the bus, but only because it's filled with pre-pubescent kiddies raving about stupid shit. And it beats the roar of the engine too ;D

Going to Soundwave tomorrow, yeah kinda lame I know...
But it's more of a social things, myself and a tonne of friends are going for Lamb of God, In Flames, DevilDriver, Bloodhound Gang and Lacuna Coil.
As poor as the set list is it will be a fun day.
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.

Im kicking myself because i didn't go, i would have gone to see Lamb Of God and In Flames Lacuna Coil and Nine Inch Nails. Plus, its probably the only live show i would be seeing in a good while now that uni has started...
Then again, my lack of interest anyway is enough to show how much i didn't care for going, i didn't even bother looking at ticket prices, nor did i realize its only down the road from where i work/watch drag races/go go-karting/drive through to go to uni.

Form your opinions instead of listening to people scared of going in pits.
Idio said they were good, I'd take his word over many.
And the whole doing what you want thing. Why let other people make decisions for you? If you like Cannibal Coprse and like them enough to think 'Hey, might as well go see them live', then go.
Peoples opinions in here about how good they are live might not be accurate.
Maybe it was a shit venue (I know people who aren't going to see Gojira because the venue they're playing is awful... and Gojira are fucking amazing live), a bad night for the band in terms of performance or technology. Maybe the soundman was having a bad night.
Well CC were one of the mildly more well known bands playing round here, I don't like their music too much I just wanted an opinion on how they were live.
Aaahh MA, you're full of fags.
"... that nu metal band Meshuggah..."
And pretencious twats who give Rectory of the Bizarre Reverend 1% because it doesn't have the 'soul' of Doom.
Based on the song 'Freya', The Sword actually aren't that good at all.

Sir, I wholeheartedly disagree. Well, they're definitely not the best stoner/doom band out there, but they're not the worst either. I like most of their riffs and the vocals are pretty cool. Sure he sounds like Ozzy, but so does the guy from sHEAVY (and Fireball Ministry).
Here I am, bored with everything.

Haha. Aight. I'll see when I can get it. I'll try to get 01011001 or Into the Electric Castle, as well. Good choice or naw?

Not to Mention Bring Me the Horizon.

August burns red and Elysia are far more deserving than BMTH.
ANYONE THAT DARES TO TELL ME THAT "Kick the Chair" FROM MEGADETH IS A BAD SONG, WILL DIE IN MY HANDS!!!!!!!!!!
Also, I like "The system has Failed" too
I have decided to make a list of my favorite Death Metal (and it's subgenres) bands.

Ok man... whatever mister obvious...
why is it that everything as to be so complicated
Some people in here classify CC as Brutal Death, and others as Death Metal. I wasn't sure so I said Brutal Death.
And Tech Death is similar to Prog Death.
I was asking for suggestions... not for lessons.

You're the only person I've seen do that.
Maybe you were reading your own posts?

Not really, Gojira and Opeth aren't all that technical, but the Prog elements stick out like an erect penis in very flexible trousers.
I was asking for suggestions... not for lessons.
You also said this 'And if I'm missing some other sub-genres just let me know'.

No one said "CC is Brutal Death", but I've heard people say, "Cannibal Corpse is Brutal" and Ponos say "Cannibal Corpse is Brutal as ever" or something like that.
I am not saying that whenever a Death Metal band is described as being brutal, that it makes it automaticaly Brutal Death Metal, but I thought that they just had the sound of brutal death, on some of their songs at least.
And Tech Death is similar to Prog Death. Not really, Gojira and Opeth aren't all that technical, but the Prog elements stick out like an erect penis in very flexible trousers.
Even if you can find exception, normally tech death bands uses a lot of prog elements. I'm not saying Prog Death = Tech Death, but a lot of tech death is prog.
I do get your point though. Theres a difference between both genre.
I was asking for suggestions... not for lessons. You also said this 'And if I'm missing some other sub-genres just let me know'.
ok fine, suggestions now?

Brutal is just a word thats thrown around, like 'epic'.

Tech is basically 'This is hard to play'
Prog is much more elaborate and not recognising it as a seperate genre is coo-coo.
ok fine, suggestions now?
You didn't mention Hypocrisy, which is a disgrace to mankind.
Demilich
Sleep Terror
Gonin-Ish
Cynic
Death! (Another disgrace).
Opeth... but I'll assume you're just not a fan, seeing how well known they are.
